Double ball bearing means, top and bottom of the stator. There was a bunch of motors that had a bushing on the top and bearing on the bottom. That’s why they say double, because on especially 0802s it is not common. T-motor was the first to release I think, but the prototype Happymodel 0802/0702 from a year or two ago, were the first I had seen, they never got released I think. GTS V3 is the line of motors, the V3 have generally been very efficient, well designed motors. The 1002, 2105, 2107 being my favourite V3s. Got the 0802s on the way, but am currently testing carbon motor shafts on 0802 and 0702s so I won’t get to them for a bit. Thank you for all you do Nick!

The black plastic frames are more durable in my opinion. Also, cut a couple of small strips of electric tape and apply on each side of the the breakage point. It'll be almost as good as new 😉

I love my AG01 mini’s, also I couldn’t give up my Jumper T lite, so I managed to install the Ag01’s into my t lite… oh my god what a perfect combination.The cnc gimbals have so much more resolution and are very precise. You should try doing that mr. Nick, just for fun.

I tried that Thrust linear for my beta95x pusher, that helped a lot. Also made sure I thanked Brandon beans on the live chat last night, since you mentioned him on the foxeer Foxwhoop35 review on how to fix that wobble on the dives.

A few comments. First, good review video, very through !! Now I know what to use to replace my Happymodel motors. Second, the supply chain here in Canada usually follows the US, so I may only start seeing these locally next year, but I have a local shop who does some wonderful things ( Rotor Village ). Last, the frame breakage is pretty common, if you are zipping around, not just cruising, at least in my experience. At least frames are cheap.

I have the full-size ag01, I concur. They're really good, I hated to admit they're worth the money considering how much they charge for them.

yes, they are expensive and likely a rough decision considering the price point but after using them its so worth it. But they were sent for review.

@@NickBurnsFPV I paid less for the radio on the pre-order than for the gimbals, that was my main gripe about it 😂 You can still get the T-lite V2 for way less than the mini gimbals are, which makes it difficult for me to believe they're that expensive to manufacture. But, it is what it is, I suppose.

Those GepRC 0802, 17000KV motors I bought on Amazon for only 7 bucks a piece on Black Friday, got delivered yesterday! Black and Silver with a really co0ol CNC pattern cut on the top. I love Spedix motors and these are slick! Can't wait to put them in a build!!! I also splurged and got one of those Flywoo Versatile 12 amp AIO FC's with everything built in! How the heck they got 6, count'em, SIX UARTS on that tiny little board, with ELRS built in, is beyond me! Flywoo is making some Top Shelf gear, that's for sure! Best deal ever on that AIO is still going on Flywoo's site. I sure like RCinpower motors! They're really good quality too. $12.89 + shipping for an 0802 is getting up there! Too spendy for an 0802 motor! That's 52 bucks + shipping for 4. 😭😵💫

@@NickBurnsFPV Looking forward to seeing that, but isn't their small board a 1s only board? I'll be using a Vista with a Nebula Pro Nano. 2S and only 2g difference. But, 120fps, low latency, 1200mw!, 810P with V2 goggles, and durability and reliability WalkSnail isn't close to. Go for DJI, Bro! 😎🤘

@@KOrnhOliO1 The versatile F405 is 1s-2s with 12am esc. Expensive, but really good board and the elrs is uart based with wifi for easy flashing.

MORE 1.5mm 0802 motors yay! Being new to FPV this year and having trashed a handful of motors with the 1mm shafts, these are coming in at a good time. Plus they are colorful. I've thought about AG01's for my T-lite V2, I ended up finding a V1 TX16s-Hall edition. Front facing tension adjustments and touch screen and saved some clams ,which I used for an elrs module. Right away I noticed how smooth the gimbals felt. I can only imagine AG01's feel even better, but I got an entire radio instead. Back to motors, tempting to buy some just to keep kicking around until that one crash. Greatly appreciate the video, happy to see more 1.5mm motor shafts for whoops. I'll take that little extra weight. Stay safe, stay warm! Cheers!

Supposedly, the hall gimbals that come in the TX16S are the exact same as the AG01's, but plastic instead of CNC metal. Shouldn't be any difference at all in performance. JB has a video where he compares them. Same thing, but metal vs. plastic. 😎🤘

@@NickBurnsFPV I suspect my brain filled in what it wanted to hear. I'm not opposed to 1mm shafts and variety is the spice of life, by the time I trash all my quads we might see more. But I still have a lot of 1mm props to burn through too. Plus I like the Blue/Pink ones.

Looks like a great option, still feel they could have done 1.5mm shaft and kept them pretty close to the happymodels with 1.5mm shaft. I may pick up a set since the ball bearings intrigue me

PyroDrone has some kind of exclusive Zorro Max transmitter with preinstalled AG01 gimbals. Saw it on their website yesterday but haven’t actually heard much about it.

Great video! Could you install the AG01 mini gimbals in the t-lite as Heads did in his radio? I have the t-lite and have been looking at those gimbals for an upgrade.

Keep in mind, those gimbals cost as much as that radio! I'd put them in the RadioMaster Zorro if it were me. At least then a top shelf gimbal is going into a reliable, quality built radio. Putting those AG01 gimbals into the T-lite is like putting a Corvette motor into a Chevy Spark! Jumper products aren't made to the quality of Radiomaster. Those T-lites have a very short life expectancy. All sorts of people have had them fail on them... Even Nick! If it were me, I'd upgrade the radio, then those gimbals fit perfectly! Why Jerry Rig something that's a 10 out of 10 into something that's a 5 out of 10? 🤷🙄 I know you like your T-lite, but Jumper makes the lowest quality products in the market.

Looks like some great 0802 motors. I’ve been using only EX0802 25k motors for the past year but it’s annoying that once in a while a motor just stops working. I’ve probably replaced 4-5 motors. 4 randomly quit working and 1 was a bent shaft.

Here in Hawaii we have a top soil composed primarily of eroded basalt. This means the common dust build up not only creates drag, but is also magnetic, making it harder to just blow em clean. Every so often I will need to disassemble and blue tack up any debris. Another little thing with the older happy model motors, vertical shaft play. More play, more likely to bind. I use brass or stainless shims to get them just right.

Hey nick got a question, I purchased the 27,000 kv motors and put them on my mob6 whoop but the board and or battery got real warm I don’t know if it was one or the other warming each other any ideas or suggestions it also drained the nectar 300 mah battery quickly thanks

I don't see much information on your setup, so I can only guess that we have a weight and efficiency issue draining the battery. Temp warning is from the flight controller, I doubt the motors are playing a role in that, but if the pid tune is way off it could cause the flight controller to be working extra hard.

I think you might have the wrong motor for the tiny whoop 802. The gold unibells should be right at about 1.9g. The weight in your picture is more in line with the tiny whoop 803

Bought meself four of em'. Gonna compare to the old 25,000kv tmotors. Btw when has anyone had a motor last long enough to wear out the bushing, or bearing.... betafpv se0802 19500kv are 1.86g average over four motors, where the beta 0802 19000kv 2.01g average. Newbeedrone plaid 0802 20,000kv 2.15g average. Old tmotor 0802 25,000kv (black) 2.05g. Webleed 26,500kv 0702 1.55g. weBLEED

Im basically into exactly what you are with micros! It just turns out that every product you like is exactly what I want lol. I do fly DJI and analog so HD micro building has been challenging but I get a lot from your channel. My favorite is the mobigital from dax and one I built i put the alpha a75 board and motors (naked vista) on a emax nanohawk x frame with the nanohawk props. AMAZING for dji micro. You should really put that one on your channel. Sorry for the ramble. Thanks for all the great videos!
