Do you live close enough to a corn famer where you could buy a used gravity box grain hauler for few hundred bucks and buy some bushels ( 1 bushel = 56# at $4.75 market price ) from the farmer or trade corn for trapping to cut your cost. What about putting a eye bolt through the face of the gate above the latch and use a cut down version of the L rods you hold the panels together with to open and close the inside gate. Then weld 2 1 inch pieces if pipe to the out side frame to drop it in when traveling

Seems that Jager Pro would put a loading shoot door within the trap gate itself since the hogs seem to remember that is the way they went into the corral to begin with. Maybe they do, I haven't researched.

@@MuddyfeetTV With all due respect. With the proof of statement. The Texas Provincial/Stare Government is more concerned about the welfare of wild pig hunters than that of nature conservation or the farmers. Because. I have written to. Confirmed by courier delivery. And emailed. Most senior members of the mentioned entity. Also to the people directly concerned with this pandemic. In Canada. And the USA. Informing. That there is known to me. A dirt cheap. Low-labour input methodology. To lower numbers of this pest. No trapping. No fire arm or air gun shooting. Raptor friendly. No collaring. No stupid birth control measures. No expensive and/or sophisticated feeding hatches. I don’t give viruses even a milli second’s thought. (Because only a REAL EFFECTIVE virus might do real harm. And what about the after effects. Such as wiping out commercial pig farmers as well?) Processes are cost-effective. As stated. Hugely so in relation to magnitude. Which will stretch any given budget by a considerable length. And for this I offered consultancy. I must. In hindsight mention that there were replies from Saskatchewan and Alberta. But from the US. Not a murmer. And. Of all the propaganda fanfare about the hog this. And hog that. That the unhindered population growth can be a figure of three. During and with severe number curtailing. Which is just not practically possible in view of the present population/numbers. The lowest available forecast. Optimistically low. Is 0,32. In actual fact confirming that the 3,6M estimated in only Texas. WILL become. At the very least 7,2M during/in 2026. Which perfectly ties in with your statement that there were only two sows in this very parcel of twenty three pigs. Grade three arithmetic. So. The proof of this pudding. Must I regretfully state. There is no feral hog problem in Texas. And if so then. Do Provincial/State leaders and people should be concerned. All on permanent holiday. In a peaceful gondola. In Venice. They don’t give a first. Nineteenth. Or forty second ……… about the issue. Many thanks for what you. And I imagine many other are doing to attempt to sort out the problem. Governmentless. God bless!

Watched the entire video. The process is quite fascinating. Would be cool for a newb. like myself to see a video where you could explain the technique in real time as you get them loaded into the trailer. Question: will the big, angry ones come at ya? And if so, do they ever bite? Great content Jeff. You sir are first ever concrete pumper to tow a trailer full of hogs behind a flat-deck loaded down the 3" concrete pumping hoses and accessories. Legend!!!
@MuddyfeetTV
@MuddyfeetTV Жыл бұрын
Absolutely they’ll bite. The big males have tusks. They are razor sharp. They get to you they’ll shred you up by shaking their snout back and fourth against you. Once I dropped these hogs off I went and pumped the job from last Sunday morning concrete pumping video. Even better I went and met a customer to look at a couple of creek crossings that we are pumping this week. I took them with for it was on the way to the market. Lol Never a dull moment over here. Lol

wild hogs meat have a different price that a domestic ones ? It is processed separately ? How do they deal with them in the butchery ? I seen several times that when all the big hogs are in the trailer, people going inside, take piglets by their back legs and just though them into the trailer. Have you tried it ? 13.40, one hog was almost a Houdini, almost escaped
