In this video I'll walk you through the new Roborock Q7+ with auto-emptying dock. I'll unbox, and setup in the app before doing some real world tests including tackling dried on mud with the mop attachment!
This is one of my favourite bits of tech in the house, it saves me vacuuming AND mopping - life saver!!

Would you please show how to fill the water tank step by step? There is a large hole on the side. Wouldn’t the water pour out after I fill the tank when I try to put the tank back inside?

Like the video! The cleaning route is pretty nice. I love the way it cleans. The emptying looks amazing as well. Seems to be a good choice for as an entry level robot vacuum.

Thanks for the review :) I have question regarding mopping and carpets. If I set carpets as no-mop zone and remove the mopping pad after cleaning, can I easily&quickly send the robot to vacuum only the carpets?

Thank you for this excellent review. I bought the Q7 Max+ during Black Friday because I couldn't pass up the price on such a highly rated device. Everything you said in your unboxing and review was spot on and I learned a thing or two. Now I'm going to peruse your channel for more good video reviews.

My old robot lost its maps sometimes, so i had to rescan and re partition the whole house. Can the roborock save maps in the cloud so you can refrieve them at any time? Thx

When the map and partitions are done, can the device run without wifi and find a room, if i need to clean a partition/part. My roidmi eve could do that, but its broken now.

Thanks for your review! a question, how often do you replace the dust bags? I do like the vacuum and auto emptying looks great!

It says 7 weeks on the box, but I guess it varies dependant on amount of size of area, use and dust. We have a pretty busy house with a kids a cat. And so far the dust bag looks pretty empty. I think I’ll have at least 5/6 weeks out of it.

Hi how has this hoover been? Theres an amazon sale of this down from £499 to 359 and am thinking of picking it up? It seems the best value mop and hoover (which i need) plus self emptying robot hoover, especially at £359. Would you still recommend this at that price or should i look elsewhere? This would be my first ever robot hoover. Thanks bud

Hello:) Super video! Thank you. I am very satisfied with my roborock q7+. But now there is sometihing wrong when it is going to autoemping. The dust stays put in the dustbox. Something is clearly stuck inside..... Now I have to send it to rep..... For up to 8 weeks.... Before I do.... Maybe someone have a an idea to fix something here my self?

Check the 90 deg turn under the dock, going to the dust bin. Sharp turn, so garbage gets stuck.

i think the best solution would be a vacuum cleaner and a mop but not in an all-in-one device. it's kinda similar to hybrid cars. you get the worst of both worlds. you could first send out the vacuum cleaner to suck up any loose dust and other stuff, and then the mop to finish the cleaning. that's how i would do it if my numbers ever came up.

Hi! I’m more of a glass half full, kinda-guy! I love my hybrid car too! It’s electric for most journeys to work etc but I can also some long journeys without waiting at a charging point for ages!

why! do you have to create an account in the cloud, that's why I will never buy it.

Yeah, you do unfortunately, there are hacks to get it to work locally, but I’m not sure I’d be that brave, and unfortunately rely on cloud. So far it’s been very reliable, and to be on the safe side, it sits in a separate VLAN from the non-cloud devices…

yeah, the requirement to create an account on a server who-knows-where is a big reason not to buy a device. if it can't happen locally, it ain't gonna happen.
