Bought a left-handed Martelli rotary cutter after watching some of your videos and it changed my life! So much more accurate cutting, plus, I can cut away from me, rather than towards me for the first time. Can’t recommend it enough! Thank you 😊

Regarding the Marteli cutter, I just figured out that I have be using the original Olfa cutter when it came out in 1970's. Never used anything else, but I do suffer sore shoulders & wrists. I think I deserve to treat myself with a new Marteli.

I'm going to steal a few of your hacks. The ergo cutter, the command hooks, and the right angle screwdriver. Love them all! My hack for you, is that I go to Harbor Freight Tools, and buy the small, magnetic, parts holders. The bowl is about 4 inches across, stainless steel, with a powerful magnet on the bottom, and they make great magnetic pin holders and are only about $4 each. Anytime that I have a pin spill, I just grab one if my pin holders, turn it bowl side down, run it over where my pins have spilled, and that magnet sucks them right up, into the bowl!

The ratchet screwdriver is a game changer. Mine has many different size ends I can swap out. I found another great tool last week. Dollar Tree (or any store that sells beauty products) has an item that looks like a flat/fan makeup brush, except instead of soft bristles, the end is silicone. You can use it to separate or hold down your seams when you iron - without burning your fingertips!

"Uh.... yeah, no!" ".... Franken-batting" LOL! I just made some "Franken-batting" a few days ago when I needed to make some more mug rugs and plate/dish cozies for my home. Great hack re: getting knicks out of quilting rulers! Never saw that hack before. 👍🏻 My favorite hack of yours to date is the right-angle screw driver. As soon as I saw you showing that in an older video, I just had to have a set. I got my at Harbor Freight for under $5/set. I bought 2 sets: one for my Singer Featherweight maintenance kit that I keep in the garage (with the oil and turpentine to clean my Featherweights), and the other right-angle screw driver set would have gone in my multi-drawer sewing cabinet in my sewing room. BTW: Yes, it's pronounced: TREE-coe. My first 2 jobs were working in fabric stores. This is yet another great video! Love your hacks, Tracy! (Kind of surprised you didn't mention anything about your reaching 100K subscribers. Will you show us what KZfaq sends you to mark the occasion, please?) 😃

Quite a few of these hacks I have been doing for years. Many of the pinning hacks I learned from the quilting programs that used to be on HGTV years ago. I have used the 2 ruler techniques for a very long time.

Another source for the right angle ratchet screwdriver is Harbor Freight. Not as many bits as the one on Amazon, but for sewing you don't need those. It costs only about $3.

Hello Tracy. Wow! The hack regarding the nicked ruler. I had covered mine with painter's tape but just purchased a pack of sanding blocks yesterday! I'm going to get to work fixing my ruler! Thank you!!!!

I really need a right angle screwdriver. I'll check and see if the nearest hardware store has any in stock (or will order me one).

I love my Martelli rotary cutter too. I have the blue one for lefties… it’s not cheap but it is one of my favorite tools and it helps you get straighter cuts. Your hacks are awesome… thanks for sharing

I'm a big fan of using the Pellon strips to fuse my batting scraps together. Over time it saves a lot of $$. Although I have arthritis in my hands and wrists, I'm not having an issue with the Fiskars rotary cutter that I've used for years. Where I have a bigger issue is the pain in my elbow from my heavy Rowenta iron. I still love it, but I use my Oliso mini-iron much of the time which helps with that issue. Loved the hack about buffing the edge of the rulers. I never thought of that!
