We bought a new shed for storage here at the house. I am becoming overwhelmed with tools and projects, and there isn't enough room in the house, according to Gail lol. We don't have a garage at this house. From Old Hickory Buildings.

I like your idea of dividing the yard with the shed. There's less fence to build, and it will be nice since it will match the house. Your plans for it will make it a valued part of your home for yourself, and hopefully make it easier to sell later. Linda and I send our best.

My cabin (shed) is 10x20. Side lofted roof so 2 large lofts. One is my grown son bedroom. Other is storage. It is tiny but we did the inside work to make it livable. Yours is cute#

Thank you for posting. Is Old Hickory engineered tounge and groove floor termite resistant or treated? Is the LP Smart Panel siding termite resistant or treated? Thank you!

I was looking at making one of these as my off grid cabin, just need to finish the inside. I wanted a 14x32 unfortunately the road to my property is not wide enough, can only get an 8 foot wide building up it so I will have to swing a hammer and build it myself like you did at St. Bernard Acres. I will have to watch your videos again on ideas for the build.

Mike, It's a really good idea to check the building codes for the property you own. That's why Joe and Gail don't have a shed-turned-into-a-house on their property, they couldn't get permits/insurance for it, and some jurisdictions will even fine you, daily, as long as you are in violation of the building code. People have lost not only their shed, but their property can be placed under lien and even auctioned off if the fines aren't paid. (There are people just waiting to snap up a property for back taxes or liens)

Nice to have a level workspace out of the elements to do a project. The red shed will be just fine for utilities up at SBA. You going to run an extension cord or have electrical conduit installed in the new shed + LED lighting? Thanks for sharing.
