Shimano Terez Rods & INKU Squid Jigs IN ACTION. Were back at Port Phillip Bay in cold but calm conditions to break in some new fishing gear. including Shimano Terez 15-40 lb rods and Inku squid jigs. Its a fun afternoon on the water full of dolphins, seals, squid, sharks and fun fishing action with lots of catches and just as much banter.

Thanks Jared, yeah ive only just started using them and they have performed well so far and have some nice colours. I cant help myself I just enjoy using new toys when im out fishing.

Nice video mate. Was great to get up close to those dolphins. Hoping for more weather like that soon so we can get out again.

Thanks Darren. Not all trips go to plan but its all about the journey. Being out there with good people, having a few laughs, whilst being surrounded by dolphins and seals and catching a few is always good in my books. We will get em next time !!

Thanks !! Yeah they sure have been excellent. Just as I was planning some more days back on the water we are in lockdown again. Looks like i have to wait again for the next session.

Yeah I know 5 days is bad enough, especially when I've been flat out at work last few weeks, desperately need some decent time out on the water.

Hey mate any advice on leaders? What would you prefer black magic or the sufix advance FC thanks heaps

Ive actually been doing a lot of testing on this in recent months. I found some of the leaders really hard to work with. 80lb Black Magic tough was almost impossible to tie knots with, same with some of the other brands. I did a heap of research on diameter on fluro and shockleaders and ended up buying sunline system shockline, its has a much thinner diameter and much easier to work with. Havent put it to the full test yet but at this stage ive been happy with that.

@@fishingmad yeah I bought some earlier the year and I wasn’t too happy nice jigs but hook strength 👎 I snapped I wasn’t too happy torch and clips are good

Hi Ollie, I was using a Savage Gear Salt 1DFR 8-15 kilo rod. There the newer black coloured ones.

Very similar, the butt section and the handles have been upgraded and feel nicer and some minor changes to the finishes. The bigger models are quite bulky to handle. Losing that Gummy was to do with the braid and not the rod.
