Check out Spread-a-Bale’s new ST (Side Throw) model launched LAMMA 2024. The first ever straw spreading machine for narrow passageways from 2m wide, for front end mounted or narrow materials handler models availing side discharge of straw either to the left, right or front. Single vertical rotor with a spread pattern of 0.8m wide and up to 8m throw. Winner of the LAMMA Livestock Innovation Award 2024 Gold.

Why does it throw a bunch of chunks out and then not much? Is that just moist hay patches in the bale?

Way to dusty. You never know when you are creating the perfect conditions for a dust explosion. One spark out of the exhaust and you can build a new town.
