My middle/high school academic building at the Maryland School for the Blind has the exact same voice evac message. Also, a Simplex T-bar pull station, but with Wheelock speaker/strobes. Our middle:high school academic building is required to have a voice evacuation system because the library and dining halls are designated as large meeting places, thus requiring communication systems for all of the occupants. Our main school building, where the front desk and elementary school classrooms only have Simplex buzzers, with TrueAlert speaker/strobes. That building is much older than the other building. It all depends on when the building was constructed and/or whether that building is used for large assemblies. During our school monthly fire drills, when everybody is allowed to go back inside the building, we do not use the default "All Clear" message; instead building personnel, custodians, security guards and/or maintenance workers tell us when it is safe to go back inside the building.

Reminds me very much of the main public library in my city; they have a Simplex 4010 and 4003 system setup with TrueAlert speaker/strobes and those earlier new-style TrueAlarm detectors. Except the pulls are dual-action 4099-9003s.

Can you do a video showing how to wire NAC and Initiation Devices to the 4010 panel? I have a 4010 panel that I want to learn to wire. I Love the one you have in the video. I just need to know how to wire the Nacs an initiation devices to the panel and what type of wire do you use.

did the 2001 or 2120 ever do that chime tone? I remembered the 2001 did a different chime tone, but did it do that exact chime tone as well?

Why was the alarm verification so short? Normally it's at least 2 seconds long, right?

Do you have an email address where I could write and ask questions on how to do things with a Simplex 4010? I am trying to see how to wire a 2 wire horn/strobe and program it to smartsync on a 4010 panel. Could you help me with this? Do I need a smartsync module to accomplish this or is it a 4010 capability?
