I got the Lomax 60 Aeon hunter green and love them. The second skin my fit liner is much nicer than my Aeon 80 skinny boy. You'll love them. Nice and low to the ground...the way it should be on skates.

Amazing edit! Congrats on the Aeons too. I’ve been rolling on Aeons since July and love them. It takes about 5 sessions for the liner to feel good and break in. First few sessions made my toes numb, but they get real comfy. Those wheels will wear out fast though. Just switched to undercover 60mm 3 sessions ago and still see the mold lines 😁.

Ya I wasn't expecting a long lasting wheel with such large cores. But makes for an interesting feeling. I would guess it's something closer to the famous wheel feeling. Good to know about the liners. I am going to skate these with my intuitions as well so I can make a more fair comparison to the M12s.

You got to a Lawrence “I got new skates “ 👍😀 Jealous of your weather. Just had 5 weeks of rain every day. Even this morning chucked it down. Sunny tomorrow but my skate park ( more the size of a garden really) is metal and it won’t be dry. Keep the good work up. Your knee seems fine now😀👍 All the best

Haha ya it felt funny saying that but what else am I going to say. The weather is slowly turning here too now. The knee is pretty good, I cant jump into a squat but I can do everything else with no issues.

Solid purchase. Really enjoy the aeon. Only real drawback is the slow sliding plastic. If they can overcome that, they’ll have something truly special. Great skating and production quality as always, man. Loved it. Intuitions make a good fit in that boot too.

Ya I couldn't tell if the plastic was slow or the lack of wax was slow. I am going to try the Intuitions in these as well to make the M12 comparison closer.

@@ThirtyandRollin Brand new Aeons slide pretty well. They slow down with wear - its why you always see Nick Lomax etc rocking fresh Aeons in their edits. They should be good for a long time though and to be honest, even with my old Aeons they slide fine with plenty of wax. hope you enjoy them!

I came back on wheel last year and bought the Aeon 60 because of all the good reviews.But they were horrible! they were so painful at my ankle, I got a blister, then have to wait to skate again, then after a 3 hours session when I took them off my ankle was bleeding and I was pretty well injured, had to stop again 2 months! I looked on the web and I'm not the only one. I've tried everything to make it better (Dremel, my fit special socks btw the quality isn't good...). I end up buying a good old pair of M12! I love photography and want to thank you for your channel which is amazing as much as for the skating part than the editing, lighting....! For your previous video and the idea of being more connected with the community, we could send you our videos and you could give us some advice on what to improve (position, exit of the trick...).

Wow sorry about your experience that sounds horrible. Thanks for the compliment, I am a photographer/videographer on the side so it just made sense to try to add a bit more production value to these episodes(can't go too crazy since they come out every week) but glad you noticed. That's a great idea, I am not a certified instuctor but would be happy to give my two cents. I will keep that in mind. Thanks!

Good skates mate, I have also returned to blading, got my regular skate and bought a new condition second hand usd throne evo 14, if I can get good on aggressive skating, I’m thinking of buying a usd aeon 60, they are so sick! right now skatepark is so terrifying but it is fun, and I’m on my 40s 😂 wish me luck mate, to stay in one peace 😁

Great choice for getting confident with grinds. I got the A80s and although they're awesome for powerblading and some soul grinds, I'm really afraid to royale on them. So, just like you, I've been eyeing out the 60s... the Nick Lomax pro green really speaks to me. However, I do have a THEM 908 with antirocker setup, so my mind has a hard time justifying the purchase 😂. Love your videos!

I’ve been thinking of getting a pair of AEONs for years. I’m glad you like them. You’re killing those topside coping grinds! Big soul plates and a wide split really do a lot to improve your consistency. You’ll get to the point where you land every single thing you try which is important because it’ll save you from getting injured. I never understood why people like small soul plates LOL.... all of my best skating has been done on skates with huge soul plates.

Great vide again mate! My aeon souls got slower after wearing a bit :) Get yourself a set of Famus wheels and you will see what are fast and responsive skates, be careful - it is addictive :D

Hi Thanks for the video, right now I'm looking for this skates or the sways 60, the price is not a big difference from the sways 60 to the aeons basics. I think the advantage of the sways 60 is that in the future I can put other frames. But the aeons looks so confortable. I know that I will be more than happy whatever skates I choose.

I got the pro Aeon 60 Lomax green skates and the second skin liner is so nice! Worth spending the extra money. I also have Aeon 80 with skinny boy liners and not as nice as the Second Skin. It makes the skate feel in an exotic car vs an truck. When I put my foot in my new Aeon 60 with that nice liner it just puts a smile on my face. Would hate to think what a cheap liner would feel like and you say not much upper support?

I've been wanting to get a pair of aeons but I don't want to because I can't find replacement shells in my size at all so I'm probably going to get my hands on a pair or roces and get a different frame in order to ride flat

Love the 60! I just bought the Lomax Aeon 60 hunter green skates and love them. They are fast, turn fast and so low to the ground and I'm used to a rockered skate. I usually go 76/80/80/76 on my Aeon 80's... but the flat 60 is not too bad after I broke in the wheels. These 60 wheels on the Lomax are hard. I'm noticing a bit of slip on pavement and the profile is flat on the wheel. I'd like to get a slightly softer wheel with a rounder profile on them. Not sure about the liner on the basics...but the second skin liner in my lomax is super nice. I also have the Aeon 80 with the skinny boy liner...which is nice...but this second skin feels so nice and firm at the same time. Love Aeon skates...so comfortable like wearing slippers. I don't know the price difference between the pro model and the basic, but I would have gone for the pro model because the liner is so nice and feels so good. That's what it's all about. The second skin would have given you the upper support that you're used to. I'm happy I paid the extra and got the 45 strap that I like and the nice liner.

I am planning on replacing the liner with my Intuitions plus I wanted to see what you can get for an entry level price. I also have a weakness for matte black with glossy white highlights.

My new hunter green Lomax 60 skates are not my favorite color but they’re kinda cooky looking and I have so many skates now I don’t mind them being a bit different. Reminds me of Christmas with the green. Maybe I’ll put on some red laces. Lol

I bought some of these, loved them but they were too narrow for my feet. Beware if you have moderately wide feet. I went to seba sx instead, super comfy for wider feet.

Did any one try them in cold temperatures yet what I remember all the usd skates use to snap on toe caps 😂 that’s the week point an the only reason I don’t buy them is bc they slow to much wax would b in my truck haha but congratulations bro shreed till u dead I bin skating my valos bin buying pay less converses an using it as the skins on my JJ an keep buying 5th elements souls

Even with the lace hooks I always recommend waxed laces. These AEONs do come with "waxed" laces but they are not great. Better than most stock laces on a skate but not as good as a $8 set of proper waxed laces.

Aeon has the slowest soul plate in the market. Sizing is very bad too. Despite the wide split, wheel bite is still on the cards. Once the soul plate is gone you have to buy a new shell...other than that Aeon is a good skate🤔😒

I struggle with this as well be you got to do you. Just get out there and do what you want to do. Once you start you will be so focused on your blading that you will forget others are around. An plus the inline community is super supportive!

I just got the pro model usd 60’s. Haven’t had the nerve to take the to the skate park yet. Is your shock absorber almost an inch thick? I think the Matt Lomax has a thicker one and it is almost too big.

Yes!!! OMG it's literally the thickest shock absorber I have ever seen! But good since I am coming from a raised heel boot.

I think you wanted to say nick lomax. He actually said on the speaking spec video that he always put another shock absorbers so that is why in this one they put double sized.
