I put down a 3’ x 3’ Zosia sod in a burnt out fertilizer area is it just recommended to water it as you stay or should I add any kind of fertilizer within the first week or two weeks or so organic or etc.? Thanks

Can’t get fungus if it’s dry fungus comes when it’s a little cool and to much water dollar weeds are good indicators for to much water

Water depending on your weather, but if you allow that NEW sod to dry out 🤷🏾♂️

@@BYDonBermudaGrassCentral They told me basically to allow the sod to dry out slightly before the evening and not to water mid day so we don’t introduce a lawn fungus or pathogen

@@jakestatefarm915 we did fungicide, insect control, watered 3 times a day, was told not to let dry out and to keep moist 1st week. Check us out on Instagram for this 7 week update 👍🏾

2 times a day is correct. Most homeowners cannot put down what he can. Or have the knowledge to do so. 2 times a day is enough if you make sure it’s not dry. If you live in the south where it’s humid than hell yeah yall water at 2 let the blades dry before sunset…that’s why laying sod deeper into the “growing season” can be tricky but I’ve seen gosh darn TifTuf ‘muda layed in October still come back the following spring…just saying Bermuda is insanely hard to kill and people put ALOT of the Zoysia Sod stigmas onto Bermuda when it’s not the same…
