Awesome batrep, the Skysplinter detachment is everything I wanted for my Drukhari. Love mixing it up with a load of wyches in a tanalus. Stick Lelith with them and s4 ap-3 attacks are great fun.

Hi Skari i tried the new detach today. Wow! So epic! Even suffering Death Guard debuffs it was so much fun. Highlight was Drazhar killing Mortarion and netting me those 3 pain tokens. What a GRUSOME display. Really excited to try Lelith.

Would you consider replacing the scourges with ravagers? That's the direction I'm leaning towards tbh.

Ravagers are more pain token efficient but I feel like they would just die … faster .

@@SkaredCast Seems to me like it depends on whether you're playing into an indirect heavy army or not. Guess indirect isn't very common right now with Nightspinners heavily nerfed.

Your batreps are the best and Im always looking forward to the time of the week when you upload new ones. The only critique I have is you really have to up your terrain game :) Your videos are top quality if you just ignore this little issue. XD

I feel like orks need to Waaagh turn 1 and long bomb the vehicles up the field as far as possible. They may start dropping quicker, but it should keep the Drukhari busy on their half of the board for an extra turn or two. Gotta take the fight to them hard.

If he Waaaughed turn 1, he wouldn't have killed much more than he already did bc most of his combat units are inside vehicles all the way across the board from the enemy. Orks need both the offense of the Waaaugh and the defense or they lose. Can't settle for just the defense, the entire army mechanic falls apart

I have played one game with Skysplinter assault and won against Grey Knights. Next game will be against Necrons... Have you tried Lelith Hesperax with Skysplinter? With a pain token, she makes Wyches S4 AP-3, and is AP-4 herself.

I've tried lelith with 10 wyches. Blended a unit of genestealers and it's attached brood Lord. Next turn she one shot death Leaper. She is terrifying

Great batrep, and a great opponent. Hard to come by the models but I've been getting great value from multiple courts in venoms for pain token generation. Skysplinter assault is indeed amazing 😈

Seems like a missed opportunity that this new detachment didn't have something for hellions, jet bikes, and other flying units.

Yeah reavers and hellions should always get lance when they charge it sky splinter, but the extra ap helps hellions

I agree that is bad for them, but detachment that good for everything is too good for 10th. Maybe in the codex, we will have some love for them too

It's been interesting post new detachment release. I've watched games playing it on a few channels but most of them the player was brand new to the faction and they ended up losing. It's fun to watch it piloted by a seasoned Drukhari player. Totally different play style as well.

@@SkaredCast I noticed your style was WAY more MSU and also using the venoms transport ability far more. A lot of people are building 10man Incubi + Archon in a raider. It's a death star for sure but at nearly 400pts ita very hard to get enough traction out of it. Also it's still super fragile.

Been running a similar list. Thoughts on swapping the deathjester in place of wyches? Originally did it to try to up pain token generation. I just havent felt like the wyches have added value but it could just be how I have been playing them.

Hey so what on earth do i do to beat black templars im currently winning 6 to 4 in my pod since update and 3 of those loses are to templar whenever i play him he insist on light terrain but beyond that I have no clue what to do i tyically have on board 4-6 less units and i just dont know what to do

@@SkaredCast he runs 1 dreadnought with the -1 to damage 3-6 5 man crusader squads and sometimes 2 transports other times just extra infantry my last time facing him he had I think 27 units and I don't necessarily think I'm bad at drukari. My current record is 6 wins to four losses and 2 of those losses are to templar

There is a new stratagem that allows a unit that disembarked from a transport that moved to charge with the new detachment :)

You pain token the transport , and when you use the firing deck the transport shoots the weapons , so the re rolls are used too.

Hi Skari! I don't play Drukhari but I love watching your videos. I'm kind of interested in picking up Harlequins, would you say monoquins play very similer to Drukhari?

It has its own style , but is quite fast and mobile .

@@SkaredCast Moreover, Monoquins have WAY fewer options, compared to Drukhari or Craftworld. Not saying you shouldn't get Harlequins, if that's what you want. Just saying, Harlequins is a narrow unit pool.

Love the reports/channel but does the scenery have to be this...flat? Is it because tournaments are just using L-shaped blocks now? Would look so much better with proper ruins etc.

Oh yeah, this is definitely a lazy terrain set visually, but it's SUPER functional and makes the game play way better for everyone. You have to strike a balance I think. You can also build terrain sets that match the layouts here, but that look far better. This low effort stuff is more common for tournaments where they need terrain for 50 tables (or more!) I will say, part of what makes it look ugly is simply the mismatch with the board. If the board and terrain colors matched more it would look a good deal more pleasing.

Simply designed for tournament functionality. So it’s very good for that. Of course for more fun, narrative and immersive games you want all the traditional terrain ! :)

I don't know, it's very convenient and has great functionality, and I can easilly see how it could be taken to the next level with some hobbying. Clean and sweet foundational pieces.
