Hey, now is a good time for a vent cleaning. Or for your dryer take out the lint catcher. Then take a brush and vaccum. While you brush out the lint area vaccum at the same time. You could also have chase take the duct off the back, it's either a clamp or duct tape (the shiny kind). And vaccum that out. Just an idea.

I am older with back and knee issues. I use my Swiffer to dust walls and around my ceilings, to clean off the top of my frig, and clean my tubs and showers. I just wrap a washcloth around it instead of the swiffer sheet. I spray down my shower and tub, wait a few minutes and then wipe it down. I also vacuum my blinds and then I use baby wipes to clean them. Thanks so much for the videos. I'm always looking for easier ways to clean.

Thanks for sharing. A sweet lady from my church years ago told me she would clean her top loader while it filled for the load. She'd get a clean rag, hold it under the clean running water, wipe down her machine then throw it in with the load. Great idea. Some mattresses manufacturer suggest turning/flipping your matress every 3 months. I wonder how many people really do it. It makes sense to do it but boy that's a lot of work. 😊♥️

We get a lot of dust where I live and it stuck to tops of my cabinets, so I lined them with washable shelf liner. Now I just wipe them off about every eight weeks. Easy and quick. And my cabinets are 28 years old!

I enjoyed watching this video you inspired me to get my spring cleaning started, when I clean my walls I use a microfiber cloth and simple green or disinfecting wipes I don't like using the dry erasers they fall apart and don't last long

My aunt gave me a good tip for on top of your cabinets: line them with Saran Wrap. It catches all the dust and grease you may have. Then you just throw them away when you spring/fall clean do a quick wipe down and line with fresh Saran Wrap. 💞

I usually take a sock or something in my kid of laundry and get it damp and wipe out my washer before I close the lid on a load. I do it about once a month and it keeps everything looking clean and sparkly!

You can use a dryer sheet to clean baseboards and they will repel dust and stay clean much longer.

I like to put about a quarter to a half cup of distilled white vinegar in my wash machine depending on how full of a load of laundry you have inside of the wash machine it helps keep the inside of the wash machine tub clean and it works as a laundry softener. It's best to keep your wash machine lid open too.

Thank you again for Spring Cleaning reminder took a break had a burn out from it back in Feb, we have a gas stove and my cabinets are a mess. I need to clean them at less twice a year and the year was faster then me this year on the first cleaning round. I wipe down the knobs and light switches plates at bed time due to the flu season. I try to keep up on that one daily if I do not forget. Just finish decluttering the Kitchen and have four boxes of garage sale things and found things I no longer can not use. This year I'm working a room a week to spring clean it so I cover decluttering, cleaning etc. Will be finish in about four weeks in time for yard work. Then start in with that. Do not burn out and have a nice week and as always nice to see your videos

It's also a good idea to run an empty washing machine on hot watch with bleach to clean the inside of it, it removes laundry detergent build-up and sanitizes. I do this once a month.

Cleaning question - You all have convinced me microfiber cloths are the way to go (yes I got rid of that large bag of misshapen towel remnants I had in the cupboard). Here is today’s question - when I’m ready to do my evening kitchen cleanup or a bigger clean - I fill the sink with sudsy water and go from there. I see my favorite KZfaq cleaners doing the spray and wipe. Was there a memo I missed? Is spray/wipe the preferred method? Kills more germs? Gets stuck on gunk up easier? You convinced me to buy cleaning rags, tell me why this way is better - I can learn new tricks 😊

I think it’s just a preference and faster for us. We have products we love using and I enjoy the smell from cleaners. It’s easy for me to grab a virtue and cloth and get to cleaning.

Love JAW'S!! And their cloths as well as e-cloths! - BTW...the other day in the Vlog, Chase was startled by the laundry basket falling off the washer and he said it happens all the time. Check the inside basket of your washer it most likely is off balance (this can happen when you wash blankets etc)...it's an easy fix (youtube how) and will help with your machine rattle & noise.

Omg the baseboards!😭 I need to do that!! Also I’ve been putting off cleaning my washing machine too!! (I usually comment as holly lou, but I finalllllly started my channel after all of these years saying I would!) also even though I have notifications on for your videos it still doesn’t notify me most of the time and the times it does, it is usually that night! Hi Ashley, Im later today ooops!!! Our washing machine has a clean drum cycle which it reminds you to run after 40 washes. I put the soap dispenser drawer in the dish washer and wipe the glass door every now and then. I use the magic eraser to get rid of marks that dogs leave on the wall when they lean on it, it works really well. Hate cleaning skirting boards too. Have a good week!!! xxx

I dont like cleaning baseboards either but I have a german shepherd that sheds. Although I I vacuum daily the baseboards still get gross. I found a trick to cleaning them. When I mop using my e cloth mop I run it along my baseboards! Its the perfect size! It keeps the dust down so I don't have to be on my hands & knees.

My washing machine also has a spiral centre and usually that piece can be yanked out to clean the inside! I did it with mine and it was so dirty inside!

Ashley, Thanks for showing your washer. It always looks on camera like everyone's are spotless. Mine is always is a mess, I clean it but we leave the lid up after washing so it doesn't get a yucky smell. My cat seems knows when it's clean and gettings up there and leaves me a hair and dander mess. I just thought I was the only one whose washer gets messy!

I hate doing baseboards, too. UGH. When my kids were home, I'd pay them to do it so they had pocket money and I didn't have to do it! I do put a cloth on my broom and wipe them off monthly, but I do Liquid Gold once a year. I am considering painting them this summer.

We have the same washer and dryer. Omg I hate the washer what do you think about them? I don't know if it just mine but it only throws out very little water it doesn't fill up like the old washers do I've had mine for 3 years already.

So now I have the jaws ultimate cleaning kit sitting in my cart, trying now to justify buying when I still have other products here that I haven't used yet! You haven't steered me wrong so far (e cloths and the mop are as amazing as you said!) I also have a pillowtop mattress and turn it in February and August without fail. Apparently I'm some kind of weirdo because I vacuum the tops of my cabinets and deep clean the doors and sides once a month as well as pull out my fridge to clean the top and sides and sweep the floor where it sits.I just cleaned my baseboards and crown molding about a month ago and I dust my recessed lighting once a month. I really should have filmed all of that since I am wanting to start my own channel!

I hate cleaning baseboards. I do my doors at the same time. I tried adding a cloth to the end of broom handle to try and clean the baseboards. It really did not work very well.

Awesome video as always! I am really new to both your channels, but am loving them!! Thank you! I am wanting to give those cleaners a try and I was wondering how they are shipped (ie. UPS, FEDEX, USPS?) I live rural and don't get regular mail delivery, so depending on shipping method, I have to use different addresses. Also, is there an expiration on your discount code?

Love this!! Great tips as I am doing my spring cleaning! I def need to tackle my washing machine! Also had a question and maybe you have done this and I just have not seen, but how often, if at all, do you take down curtains (shower or regular ones) to wash? I try hard to do it once or twice a year (ours get terribly dusty) so just curious if you do that and how often you do? Thanks for another great video!! Can’t wait for the rest of the series!! Love you guys!!

Wow that's motivation fr spring cleaning. I hadn't thought about some ofthe areas to clean. Like the baseboard walls and the washer. At thw beginning of the video when you are throwing the pillows and then showing the other angle while removing the comforter.... I am thinking how many times you moved the camera. Hardworking Ashley. I like that about you.

Awesome video, as I guess we are all about to or currently neck deep in Spring Cleaning :) It has been warm & humid here, things are a blooming outside too, sooo, no better time! Celing fans, they are the worst for me, but here in the South, yeah, we can NOT live without our ceiling fans... also goes to show that no matter how many sq. ft. your home is, it is always work to keep it clean....love you always XOXOXO

I'm thinking about getting some Jaws cleaners and wanted to know what you recommend best for the kitchen and bathrooms? Does the granite cleaner do well on glass stove tops as well because mostly I have granite and appliances? Thanks.

They have glass cleaner and I use it like an all purpose cleaner. The granite cleaner is my favorite and works great on my stainless steel appliances. They have a bathroom cleaner as well.

I think you definitely need a normal vacuum to go along with the Robo vacuum but it keeps the floors from getting too crazy dirty! I couldn’t keep up. I was vacuum non stop. Now I’m back vacuuming one or twice a day.

It sounds crazy, but window cleaner like Windex works great on microfiber furniture. I haven't tried Jaws yet but maybe it would do the trick too.

Totally random thought ... Do you put your laundry detergeant cup and fabric softener cup in the wash cycle? Thats a neat trick! Where did you learn that? They stay so clean. I don't remember ever hearing you talk about that.
