Am not arsed I was the weld inspector for the mainstand and truss formation on the Liverpool Stadium rebuild a few years back an it’s in my heart as my club but that stadium Everton is building is an absolute belter ! We cant even sort the Kop or Kennys stand , shoulda built a fresh one in Stanley park an even then that Bramley dock location is stunnin, glad for the city we should go next to the echo 🤭

I am thinking you have no idea of its surroundings, you think it being ``on the river`` its all glamorous. well its on regent road, the most industrious area of Liverpool. next to a sewerage treatment works, numerous working docks unloading stinking cargoes. Nortons, the biggest scrap metal merchants in Europe have a mound of rusty metal so big you can see it from any part of the Wirral shoreline and from Bramley Moore dock. a molasses plant,2 giant flour silos, an asphalt plant. There are more HGVs on regent road than cars, no local parking, the nearest transport link is a ten minute uphill walk to the train station, no food outlets or any other amenities, the stadium will look like a bright shiny button on a dirty old pair of overalls. What they should have done is built housing on the dock, and upgraded the lives and properties of the ones living around Goodison, give the local residents a new housing estate on the river and rebuild a bigger Goodison on the now vacant properties.

The lights on a night game, sky, Liverpool council and everyone/ where associated will be massively benefited, Rome wasn’t built in a day. They have the fortune that the 3 promoted teams this year are all weak, and are likely to go right back down. Burnley might pull a rabbit out of the hat and stay up, but Wolves are pretty awful this year, too. I think it's between Everton and those four, but if they stick with Dyche, they should be safe. Just need to find goals.

All seems to be about the Dock ground nobody seems to be mentioning the road outside the Dock ground if everton move ground and they leave that road as it is outside the Dock ground its going to take hours getting to the match and the same getting to houses after the match plus the rail network won't be able to handle the crowds eg match people and people leaveing work etc its going to be chaos your going to have 30 thousand cars maybe more plus coaches etc decending there the congestion is going to be horrendous and there is very limited parking outside or near the dock ground
