New Stihl SGA 85 Battery Backpack Sprayer

2 жыл бұрынHere is our new Stihl SGA 85 backpack electric pump sprayer with 4 us gallon capacity. We use this unit for glyphosate products so we don't have to run them in our spreader sprayer (toro spraymaster). This is filmed in central Minnesota on a beautiful sunny day. Make sure when using this product to wear proper ppe. Boots, gloves, safety goggles or glasses, and respirator if required on chemical bottle. This video is not sponsored by stihl. Looks like a great sprayer, A steep investment for sure. I own the Field King Professional Battery Powered Backpack Sprayer, comes complete with battery and charger for around $180 - Good job on the video

Thanks! Yeah the price is what I can't stand about stihl products. However I haven't ever had 1 major issue with any of them.

Now that sthil is manufacturing lawn mowers make a standing mower that accepts accessories such as sprayer and spreaders for turf management would blow competition out of the water!!!

Is the an TJET tip & nozzle tip adapter that would work with the wand?

Was the AP300 battery originally with the sprayer? It is written in the manual that it works only with AP100 and AP200.

The unit doesn't usually come with a battery I purchased the 300 separately

Can you do a quick light squirt with this if for instance you’re in a tight area? Or is it like a pressure washer, all or none? Thanks.

Great review, thank you. Give or take, how many litres of spraying do you get out of the AP300 battery? (I appreciate that this is quite variable, but just looking for ball park). Cheers.

I ran 4 tanks through and used approximately 2 battery bars. So a full battery would be somewhere around 120 litres?

I guess I'm not sure on that. However it's about time they put out a blower equal to or better than the echo pb9010. I would guess that one should be coming here soon! It's definitely time!

You could probably hit stuff 10ft away. Depending apon nozzle, angle, and pressure. Thing has good distance.

@@bladezllc you should test it .. most 18v sprayers go 32-36ft. thats a 36v sprayer, i wonder how it compares?

Why do you Americans have to bastardize pronunciations? its pronounced STILL not STEEL ! There is no E in Stihl.

Is the sprayer still holding up? My Flowzone broke, Birchmier electric broke Tomahawk electric broke after only 3 weeks piece of garbage And now my Ryobi electric backpack the hose busted after two uses about to return it This worth a buy?

If you buy the ap300 battery, the charger, and the unit. Yep $700. I would have never done it but we have batteries we run on other equipment.

@@bladezllc yea I already have Kobalt lawn mower/ edger Ryobi granule spread, tire inflator and leaf blower don’t want a 3rd brand Really tempting to spend the $700 cuz this looks like the best backpack on the market but I’m gonna wait it out for a cheaper unit and just use b&g spray cans in the mean time
