2 ай бұрынThe new Boeing MH-47G Block II Chinook "Special Ops" scale helicopter from VARIO was guest at the ROTOR Live 2024 RC helicopter trade fair in Iffezheim, Germany, where it also went airborne as shown in the video. With a rotor diameter of twice 2.30 meters, here in the electric version, the new Black Chinook is definitely a considerable RC helicopter giant of the skies!

I served 12 years on Chinooks in the RAF. I've got one of those rc Chinooks although a bit smaller.

I live in NW Washington State on flight path with helicopters from FT Lewis. They bring airborne troops to parachute onto my local airport. It takes about 90 seconds to get to the ground! An troopers hit hard!
