Excellent playthrough. It helped me. One trick I picked up from other players that I'd like to pass on to prospective advice for Mario U Deluxe players: while wearing the acorn suit, do a spin jump before going into a glide. It provides extra height without having to go into that annoying flutter after doing an upward swoop and keeps that move open for even extra height if needed.

If I were to rate the game I'd give it a 9/10 and heres why: If you play as Luigi you have less time to complete the stages.whats WORSE is that Luigi slides around on the ground,thats bad because what if you slide of off a platform and die? Sure you can play with Mario physics but if you do you won't be able to flutter jump. If your going to make it the time limit shorter,then at least have something that can boost the time limit (Only boss battles boost the limit) like coins. Thats my only complaint! The game is great!

Since Lost Levels and Luigi's Mansion, it is super nice to have Luigi all by himself on a quest to save Peach. I have the NSMBU version that contains this, but I play this game way more often as I love Luigi and it feels a lot more unique. I beat both 100%.

I find these so much more fun than the 3D Mario games (64, Sunshine, Odyssey and Galaxy). Mario is just a much more fun game as a 2 or 2.5D game that's all there is to it. Same with Metroid as well. I will say that Zelda games are fun in both but primary for me Link to the past and Twilight Princess.
