NoJokesInc. All this Koopalings complain is just unfair. NSMB boss where just like the Koopalings (they had to be stomped 3 times to be defeated). The fact they were 'original' and 'creative' (not quite, they mostly were larger enemies such as W4 or W3 bosses / already existing characters like Petey Piranha) doesn't save the fact their battle gimmick was the same as the Koopalings.

SuperRitz44 Ikr, I don't think they've appeared in any other Mario games besides this one and they only appear in the ice world. It would have been cool to see them return in the Wii and Wii U version of new super Mario bros. If they make a sequel to Mario maker, they can put the snailicorn as a new enemie.

It's weird how the Goomba, the Koopa Troopa, and the Boo are the only enemies that uses 2-D pre-rendered sprites, while all the others uses 3D models. Also, the World 4 boss, which the big Goomba, uses a 3D model of a Goomba, and not a 2D sprite. Even when it it's growing. Don't you think that's a bit strange?

I love how Nintendo tried to bring something new within the game such as the enemies. Unfortunately the rest of the NSMB games didnt had the creativity like this game. This game deserves the "New Super Mario Bros." title alone because of course nearly everything was new.

I love this game still to this day because it did something never seen before with Mario at the time, and even did more new things then the newer NSMB games... This was back when Nintendo wasn't afraid of experimentation with Mario... I hope we see a return of that after Odyssey

It's so interesting how many enemies they brought back from Mario 64 like the redesigned Scuttlebug or Whomps. And then we have these strange enemies that we've never seen since like Spike Bass (which is pretty much just a Porcu Puffer).

*Goomba category* Goomba: walks in a platform and doesn't care about falling, hoping to not die. Paragoomba: Does a little jump while walking, but if hit once loses the jump ability. Splunkin: Takes not one, but two hits. They also have a spooky pumpkin face. Micro Goomba: Small and absolutely weak. That's it. *Koopa category* Koopa: The green one moves like a Goomba, the red one avoids falling. When hit, turns into a crazy shell. Parakoopa: Flies up and down, up and down, until it's hit and falls to the void Hammer bro: He doesn't go easy on Mario. Throws hammers to the left or right, and jumps around a small area. Sledge bro: A hammer bro that eats hamburgers every day Boomerang bro: throws a boomerang that goes back to him. Pretty cool Fire bro: He throws fireballs, like a Koopa with a fire flower Lakitu: Throws a Spiny from their cloud. Spinies behave like Goombas, but cannot be stomped. *Shell category* Spiny: *You problably should check Lakitu's descripition* Spike top: A spiny, that can walk on walls like a spider. Unique Buzzy beetle: It's better to just see it in action and not hear a explanation from a dumb guy
