I honestly think bowser is a underrated character. And he actually does seem very smart and caring for his kids. I mean he gives them entire air ships. And if you disagree with the him being smart thing because of all the flaws in his boss fights then just remember that this game is a video game at the end of the day. It has to be possible.

I wish can make bowser incredibly big. But if you do it maxes out your bowser and bowser jr limit. That would be a good idea to at least prevent some little timmy levels.
