I know it’s been a while since I uploaded, let’s just say this song was done and ready to upload for a couple of weeks already, but I needed more time to get this amazing artwork done for the video.
The Castle Theme is actually one of my first songs that got me hooked into Mario music. Let’s just say I spent hundreds of hours playing NSMBW when I was younger so it was one of my favourite songs from the game. It was even one of the first songs I learned for piano, so I got a bit of a history with this theme. This orchestration essentially is what I feel when I hear the song.
Later on, I intend to make a quick video explaining my process behind making this song, as well as how you can make it yourself as well (a.k.a. a tutorial) so let’s hope that I can finally pull it off.
