Faro Lady summary: • Automatically go invisible when within 20m of the hunter. • while invisible, you use a resource meter, once it runs out, you become visible again, the resource meter recharges when not within 20m of the hunter. • You leave behind a trail while invisible, walking on previously placed trails will not make additional trails. • Your item lets you create a fake trail in a direct line for 3 seconds. • whenever she touches a cipher under 10%, she sets it to 10% progress. • you can choose any cipher machine with progress to start draining it at 1,5% per second, gaining a 25-15% decoding buff (depending on the cipher’s distance) in return. • Rescues at half the speed.

@@Pinkcinnabon As soon as ur in range of the hunter you automatically become invisible. I believe doing anything other than running, walk, and crouching removes the invisibility. I did a translation and it said "doing any major actions will end the invisiblity". It isn't bad but i can see the issues with it.

She would be really great in late game decoding (1 cipher left) if the decoded cipher is camped and is far away from any survivor so she'll just have to decode another one in safe distance. I don't think the hunter can disrupt the connection like they can do with prisoner's ability it seems.

She is worse than Magician because Magician leaves behind an illusion and you can use them to block some ways and create distance, also Magician's decoy gives him extra speed boost, Faro Lady don't have any speed boost from her abillity.

So her abilities is the stealth mode that shows her trail and the ability to steal progress from other ciphers, but at the cost of rescuing INSANELY slow. She is a mix between Magician (stealth mode and rescue debuff), Grave Keeper (the trail that confuses the hunter about which direction she is moving towards) and a reverse Prisoner (cipher progress stealing). Overall she is not too bad, but lore-wise, I am a bit puzzled as her abilities don't synergize at all and, above all else, are not really tied to her gambler story. It feels like devs threw skills ideas on several papers and chose 3 random ones to patch together in a survivor. She is not a decoder, yet not a rescuer, so my guess is she is primarily use to be a kiter with no supporting skills (in that case, Cheerleader is better I'd say, or even Female Dancer with her boxes). What really affects her is that awful rescuing speed, even with 80-year old reflexes, any hunter can TS her

She WAS a gambler, she is now a leader for a spy agency that trains new spies, so her being sneaky and stealthy makes sense with her current work.

Her abilities mainly rely on forcing the hunter to gamble with the actions she makes. She’s either going under the decoder category with kiting being a side category, or she’ll be put under the assist category. She’ll probably be the second best decoding character since she gets buffs whenever she steals progress from other unfinished ciphers based on how far the cipher is from the one she’s working on. It’ll definitely get nerfed in the future, but a 25% decoding buff if she steals progress from a close cipher is insanely good. Also, her ability would be closer to First Officer than Magician. She gets unlimited amount of times she goes invisible (but the recharge has to be outside the terror radius), but she only gets a limited amount of fake trails(I’m assuming 3 with each one lasting 3 seconds with a cooldown of 20-40 seconds.) It’s a decent character that will get debuffed. You don’t have to like her, but you’ll definitely see a lot of her once she’s released.

@@effynoodle6181 her role is decoder as well and all the decoders have a meh kitting ability like mind eyes with her small kite buff (when she switch from run to walk she got a small boost for some seconds), also luca as well, he only have 1 second shock and thats it, they can't make decoders a good kitters too because its not their roles, hope that helps too!🩷.

So it doesn't look that strong as you guys think

Facts
