Wow really cool seeing how a boat is rigged. I have decided to save and get my 06 Mercury 4 stroke Bigfoot fixed, the price of a new motor is insane right now. Suzuki is an awesome motor however I'm trying to get boat in the water without going into anymore debt😂, however new is so f'n appealing to me right now.

Looking great! I'm re-powering a 76 Montauk this week . You might to retrofit a "Heavy-Duty Transom Tuff'ner Motor Support" on the upper bolts, simply to spread the load.

I thought about that but fitting the motor just right had us higher than I originally thought. The plate just didn’t look right giving where the bolts lined up. Fortunately the transom was very healthy. So far zero issues and I’ve been really keeping an eye on it. Thx for subbing and the comment . Best of luck with your repower. I think the guy should have use a backing plate those washers are too small ,but great job.👍

Let me tell you how great Browns point marina is. I bought a motor from them and they were happy to take my money. I had a issue with my new outboard not running well. They would not give me the time of day even though our vacation was 6 days away. All I wanted was a few minutes with the computer hook up . They said no bring it back in September. Don’t tell me how great these guys are. They are like anyone else after the got your money. I wasn’t asking for hours , just 15 minutes. Go elsewhere.,anywhere.

Boat looks great I am also in New Jersey looks like that shop is in Keyport. I am considering a very similar 1973 Cohasset with all originalapart needs inside. Paint and finish small soft spot by the Fuel tank in the floor you're boat inspires me to take on the project

Install went smooth! They’re really cool to allow the cameras, I was able to film the repower of my Contender and I also had full access to the shop 👍 .. will you be installing the Whaler gunnel stainless grab rails? I love them on my 15.. Looking forward to the next episode.

Yes Spin they gave me full access. They keep their shop in the town where I work. Also they service my 300 as well. George and Kevin are the best. Tremendous service. I will not be putting the rails back on for now. Eva foam on the floor in June. Rub rail coming up ! Love how it came out . I watched your repower series. It was great. Thx for always commenting. 👍.
