Also lance looked very comfortable riding, I am 5’11 190lbs, I was concerned the x3 would be too small for me. I was going back and forth btwn the x3, goat v3, and the apex predator, but this video sealed the deal for me, thanks guys. /end rant

@@jayowen286 I have the red XXX with no pedals and it is super awesome. If you get it I’m sure you will enjoy it. The seat is not as comfortable as you might expect so if you are going to commute then gradually transition to commuting bc if you just get on and think you can ride long distance then it will be a sad face.

⁠@@GorillaSmokeUSAthanks for the heads up, I’m hoping luna introduces something soon like the luna float seat or luna gator seat, like they do for the sur ron. If not I’ll scour the webs in search of a stop gap, because I agree the stock seat looks very narrow and not very comfy.

bikers are so paranoid lol. Been riding 2.5 years and never got pulled over by a cop. I only get stopped by peds curious about my ebike since they never seen one before.

wrong, if the motor kicks in when you are not pedaling ie from a standing start when you press the throttle then it has to be licensed and taxed

Downhill is a different story any regular bike can easily hit 40 down a decent hill other than that 😅

There isnt a lot of room up there and the spindle is special made so you'd have to have the larger sprocket special made and honestly I don't think you can go much larger without rubbing frame with chain as people are already complaining about chain rub

Toro doesn’t make a version for the XXX and so t be for a while. Nucular video coming soon and then the X-9000 going on next.

Ya I meant the Torp on the Sting R whenever it releases. I think lots of people will be interested to see how it fares against the Nucular since they're both designed to integrate well with the stock bikes and let us unlock the potential of them + provide room to grow into 72V. Still, I'm excited to see the EBMX vid - they make great stuff!

@josephgermain2003 it’s only when it’s backwards because of a ever so slight drag. It does freewheel when your riding and have your feet on the pedals.

@josephgermain2003 yes it does free wheel when moving. He's talking about when you wheel the x3 backwards the pedal spin backwards into your kickstand if it's down.

Yes it will have the same torque and speed as the bike without the pedal kit.

Hey man it’s hard to say what the right one would be, it’s also not necessarily a nicer shock it’s just a bit softer. You could email Luna and see if they sell the rear shock but it may not be worth the upgrade price wise. It’s hard to say.

Same range if you only ride it the same speed as before you cut it, the faster you ride the less range you get.

agreed a working pedal assist system would make these a lot closer to legal, and provide power assist wile pedaling for lower speeds if you don't want to go all out

My friend, Sur-Ron guy had disconnected his left rear motor killer in the brake system. He got on my TALARIA MX4 and rode away to test it. SurRon Guy had discoed the motor killer on left side ONLY. Good reason to keep front "stock" as in "No Touchee a dis" He said THOMAS TRUST!! now I know why, no wheelies. and in case of Brain FADE, I can kill motor NOW! LOW to very slow mounted or dismounted moving bikes etc. garage, parking whatever.you don;t want the bike to take off, also when sitting on MSS> T she be all good to GOhohohoh!hahhaha. The small sprocket did have a 3-4 mph higher top speed so around 54-54gps mph but acceleration was slower as you saw.

As soon as you hit the throttle the pedaling becomes obsolete. You can’t pedal fast enough to keep up with the motor. Pedaling won’t increase the acceleration
