I'm here to support KyoAni in whatever they do. They've given me so much enjoyment Tamako Market is a beautiful series it's one of those i wish got more love.

Love the new video format. Anime news + extras. This season seems to be super packed with little gems. Adventurers Who Don't Believe in Humanity is a really cool look into party dynamics, all 3 of the "Generic" isekai this season, Iceblade Sorcerer, Strongest Exorcist, and Reborn Blade Master, are all taking different approaches to their stories. Chillin' in My 30s looks to be a chill laid back adventuring story. I was not expecting this many decent starts from this season, on top of all the great sequels.

I like this new format! Many topics that either aren't covered at all or unnecessarily drawn out don't need a whole seperate video, so having this makes things concise in an orderly way. Regarding watching _every_ anime this season, I hope you won't burn yourself out doing this method along the way! Take your time watching these shows! Anyhow, looking forward to new videos from you.

As a Los Angeles native, I haven't been to Anime Expo in quite a while. But that is more due to not being a con person rather than the lines. I did meet Littlekuriboh though. So that was nice.

I'd be over the moon if Tamako Market returns. I enjoyed watching it many years ago and a new Tamako anime will bring back lots of good memories! I've watched 2 episodes of Magical Rev and it's a gem. The story is extremely interesting and the characters are lovely.

One that came out of left field for me, "The Magical Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess and the Genius Young Lady" really caught me off guard with the first two episodes. I am now excited to see the rest of the season for this title.

honestly magical rev is one of the few things times where i feel the reincarnated plot actually is justified as it really influences her core personality.

As a fellow lover of Bofuri, Season 2 has been killing it! And it's only been one episode!

I'm really loving this format. Getting up in the morning, listening to the news half asleep while drinking my beverage is what i really loved to do in 2011-2012.

Yeah, this is what this channel needed! I'm personally watching everything of current and last temp and only then picking what is worth to continuing watching. Those shows you mentioned will maybe be really fun to watch, especially the princess one.

Considering how many shows are airing, the time you take to mention the extra series that might end up really good is awesome! It's stuff like that that will get missed with all the big shows airing otherwise

Kyoto Animation has been my favorite studio since the first season of Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid. I love them deeply and have many of their works. I am glad they are still able to make wonderful and heartwarming animation.

Saying that the arson attack on Kyoto Animation killed several people is like saying that a guy who got both his legs blown off by a landmine lost a couple of toes. It was 36 people who died that day. It absolutely gutted the studio both literally and metaphorically. Included among those who died were multiple key animators and episode directors who were core members of the team that created Tamako Market. It is truly a testament to the human spirit that Kyoto Ani has forged on in the aftermath, first honoring and caring for their fallen then rebuilding the studio from the ashes where they are now once more creating new installments of beloved series such as Tamako Market that have brought joy to people across the world.

Looking forward to more content on the channel. Been here for years and years, and the recent lulls admittedly had me a bit worried for you and this channel.

I don't pay attention to much anime news so thanks, I think this format will be fun and simple to keep up with. Also definitely want to hear your opinions on the airing shows. Has anyone pointed out that the cast of Iceblade Sorcerer (Hyouken no Majutsushi ga Sekai wo Suberu) are cosplaying you? I don't know how long I'll keep up with Farming Isekai, but Magical Revolution is off to a great start, especially after ep 2. And Bofuri continues to delight. This'll be a fun season.

Magical Revolution is my #1 anime this season. 2 episodes have been released so far and they're both fantastic. It's also great that it has been explicitly yuri right from the start, none of that will-they-won't-they nonsense.

i love this news episode, and i'd totally watch more in the future if you were interested in making more. i don't really have any anime youtubers i watch that go over anime news like i do regular news with philip defranco and such, having something like this to watch every so often to keep up to date on the anime world would be nice..

As someone who has been attending AX every year since 2013 getting into the con itself has been getting better for the past 4-5 years. For the most part I always recommend getting your badges early (whether it's by mail preorder or going day 0 to pick up a badge). That said my experiences are biased since I live in the L.A. area (20-40min drive to get to the convention) and I get a free 4-day pass from a friend who who volunteers as AX staff almost every year.

[hears about waiting in line for conventions] I'm amazed that someone tried to Disney Fastpass a con in the first place. It never goes well for Shapeland.

You’re wrong about the premiere badge. All the perks you mentioned were only for the first day only. Except for the panel entry. The lines last year were not bad. I was in the convention as soon as it opened. I got into all the main panels such as Bleach, Trigger, etc.

I am sooooo glad you chose to talk about Reincarnated princess and the Genius Young Lady, because the new anime I am excited are not popular ones! The others are ONIMAI: I'm Now Your Sister! by Studio Bind, Ayakashi Triangle by the author of To Love Ru and Reborn to Master the Blade: From Hero-King to Extraordinary Squire. This season is a great one for gender benders!

Like the new video style. Like philip defranco talks about anime topics. As for AX, I think i remember the last year you came and that was by far the worst year Ax has had in terms of lines. They are still really bad, and they should look into capping badges, but the RFID badges means at most you'll wait 30 minutes to get in but you can usually just walk in. I'm sort of indifferent about the premiere badges though. I got one last year, and it was kind of bad. They've mostly devolved into just paying extra so you can get into the hotel block early. I actually got turned away from every panel I went to with the badge if the line was already capped. I remember one panel in particular I showed up to 45 minutes early and they still turned me away because the line was already capped, despite having the premiere badge. That on top of the fact that you're supposed to have a full hour in the exhibitors hall by yourself. But once again, most of the booths are still getting ready/ won't sell to you, and last year one hour turned out to be 20 minutes. So the badge has kind of lost all of its purpose. Like the new style of video! Hope to see you around again, but probably not at AX.

I've been lucky enough to do ax twice back in 2014 and 15 and I don't think I will ever go again. It was packed then I can't even imagine now. Make great content, get money!

I do like the Princess anime, is fun. Besides that one others lesser known anime of the season that are interesting for now are: Ars no Kyojuu , Ooyukiumi no Kaina, Revenger and High Card. There is Gokushufudou S2. Ofc besides those other anime are more popular, like Vinland Saga, Nier A, Trigun.

This season is good eats for isekai and isekai-likes, I'm already watching 12 but might drop 1 or 2.

also Giant Beasts of Ars is great, feels like a Gundam series despite the lack of giant robots and is a fantasy series.

Bofuri season 1 was my favorite of that time of year, so season 2 will probably be as well. Even though I may be watching a record amount of new shows this Winter Anime time.

One show that I feel doesn't get much attention that I heavily recommend is Endo and Kobayashi Live! Despite what it looks, it is not an isekai. I consider it to be one of the best villainess themed manga I've read. I'm normally not a fan of tsunderes but the main female character there, Liselotte, has got to be one of the most adorable tsunderes I've ever seen in anime. She is the type of tsundere that I wish most anime go with instead of the annoying, and sometimes, violent type. Also, its source material is pretty short and the anime should cover the entire story so no need for a 2nd season.

You should review the Tamako Martket anime entirely maybe then I’ll watch that series

Please do a retrospective video on the anime adaptation of classical public domain works such as Heidi or Romeo x Juliet since a lot of light novels suck and adapting them feels like a waste of time.

I too am watching nearly every show that's coming out this season. I think my weekly total is about 50 shows. That said, out of all the shows I'm watching, none of them are just straight up bad. Which I think speaks to the overall higher quality of most shows in this day and age.
