Hermes has always been what I class as a designer Niche house. Their fragrances do not follow the blue, sweet, gourmand designer trends so I like that they do their own thing which goes against the designer norm which obviously make them less popular. John Claude Ellena the in house perfumer was a hard act to follow but give Christine Nagel her dues as she is doing great avant garde designer fragrances for Hermes to make them different

The White cap of Eau Tres Fraiche is iconic. nothing will replace this frag. plus its juice is fantastic summer frag with beyond average longevity compared to commom freshies

The predecessor was one of my favorites for summer but the EAU GIVREE is also hmmm delicious 🤗 . The previous version was sophisticated and unique but i like the new cap even better because it allows me to enjoy this fresheee smell without the need to spray because in case of eau tres fraiche this was rather difficult to achieve 🤗

Just picked up a bottle of Eau Fraiche. A special fragrance. Like so many other special and classy fragrances (like Aqua Amara) they get discontinued. Strange. The good thing though...the discontinuation make them even more special!!!!!

The "grapefruit" you think you're smelling is the citron note which is quite different from light blue forever. Citron and grapefruit both have that sour/tart element to it, but other than that they are different.

Kupiłem i zakochałem się od pierwszego wejrzenia. To będzie mój zapach na gorące lato i nie tylko. Givree to chyba nie tylko nazwa marketingowa. Jeśli zapach może też wpływać na odczucia temperatury to mam delikatnie uczucie chłodu i jest to niesamowite. Nie wiem czy to zasługa jałowca ale wyraźnie odczuwam przyjemny chłód. Krótko - ten zapach jest świetny. Najlepszy flanker. O ile Terre d'Hermes edt bałbym się nosić na co dzień, o tyle Eau Givree jak najbardziej :).

@@the_9ent I actually don't really agree man. I've smelled it and it's still not as unique smelling as I would personally like. It's a good scent ofc, don't get me wrong. I currently use prada black a lot and I love it. Just very good and different

@@oliverriezebos I don’t know which flanker it is because ulta beauty had the bottles mixed up but go try the Givenchy Gentleman I sprayed it along with 7-8 more different frags & it was the most unique threw all the other test strips away & left with that 1 it smelled like I smelled it before just couldn’t remember what it smelled like 2hrs later I smell it again & I’m like John Varvatos Dark Rebel Rider not the regular Dark Rebel & if you like Prada Black you should definitely like the Givenchy

Hmm, you've really messed me up with this one. I absolutely love the TdH line, and I was really looking forward to it. I also really love the grapefruit opening to light blue forever so now I'm torn whether or not I will like it or not. Obviously, I'm probably still going to pick this one up lol. First time I tried it in the store I thought it was great but once it dried down I thought it was okay. Then, after getting a sample and tried it second time I thought again it was good. Today, tried it again but it suddenly was too “fruity” or “grapefruity” which also reminded me “Forever” or “Italian love” (which btw are the same in my own opinion) and it also reminded me a popsicle or ice cream so I got immediately turned off by it. Also, I have no idea why this is the replacement for Tres Eau Fraich - They are totally different and I wish they will find a way to make it again!

Compare it to Eau Tres Fraiche, literally makes no sense comparing to the original Terre d'Hermes 🙄- Also grapefruit isn't listed because Timur is, which smells like grapefruit.

Personally I am not a fan of this new one. It’s a fizzy Gin and Tonic at first and it dries down to very similar Hermès Eau très Fraiche. It’s nothing special to me. The grapefruit opening reminds me of the grapefruit from TF Grey Vetiver, it’s not smooth and classy, it’s pretty harsh. I have sampled it and will not be buying it. I love Terre Hermès in the EDT and other fragrances that have similar notes, this one didn’t do it.
