Depend on what you prefer. Goodyear ATM2 is a street tire that focus on comfort and less noise (ofc it won't be better than the CC5) while TR1 is a sport tire that focus on cornering performance and good good wet grip. I go for TR1 because I often drive on highway under rain, TR1 have superb wet grip allow me to drive 110 confidently if visibility allow and I like to play with corner, TR1 does handle the understeer characteric well. Tldr: I guess CC5 will be better than Goodyear ATM2, but I never use either of them before.... TR1 on the other hand if you want a sport tire and may not be long lasting compare to ATM2 or CC5

@@themanualdriver2 tbh I've heard a lot of good news about ATM2 and personally CC5 is the worst (even though it is comfortable). During lower speeds and raining, my tyre skidded. Then when I go for abrupt corner exits, the traction control lights up and squeals everywhere. How much do you think your TR1 will last? 40k? I've only clocked 40k in 3 years as am not living in peninsular.

Oh by CC5 is better what I mean in terms of comfortable. ATM2 is great but because I didn't use it before so I can't speak much about it... But about corner exit, TR1 did grip the tire very well before the Traction Control lights up. Compare to my old Silverstone I manage to exit the corner (same corner) at least 10kmh faster by using TR1 without the Traction Control lights. But I don't push the limit of this tire because 80kmh is already fast for that one corner, plus it's not a race track My TR1 is currently clocked at 39k, going to do 4th rotation soon, still grip well and have 5mm of thread left, I even off road the car with this tire several time. Did Cameron touge several time, Genting touge once, and a few random mountain road.

But since the tire stick very well. I don't really recommend if you do off road often because the dirt stick on the tire after off roading. I normally turn off my ESC and did some wheel spin after off road just to clear up the dirt sticking between the thread

I drive a yaris t sport / vitz rs came with 185 changed to 195 handles like very good now , just orders these for my car hope they are good in wet as it’s mostly raining in Uk 🇬🇧

My Persona aslo used this tyre. All that you said is true. Mine using 195/55/15. Cost me RM800 per set. Worth buying if not mind with noise & comfort

Wider tire does give a much better grip gain. It's always a good idea as long as the price is okay
