May Allah SWT give you the best understanding of Islam and give you strength and persistency!
@princeali17862 жыл бұрын
Inshallah, with your mind set, Allah SWT will guide you to the truth. You ask Allah will give. Everything is based on your intentions, and with a pure heart. It is as though your heart is pure. Study at your pace and only at your pace. Do not rush to a decision if you are not yet convinced. When studying the Quran, you must also read the footnotes (Tafsir) for this will explain Gods message to us. Example, when Allah takes about certain things like war it was only meant for that moment when our prophet and his companions were being targeted and the the Muslims were being killed. The companions beg our prophet to plead with God to let them retaliate. But only after many years of abuse, torture and killing did God finally Allowed the Muslims to defend themselves. And then there were rules and guidelines. This part is what is known as our prophets sayings known as the Hadith. Our prophet said, when fighting against the oppressors, you fight only those who come at you. If they run you can not go after them for now you would be the oppressor. You cannot hurt children, you cannot hurt women ( no raping) you cannot hurt the old person, you cannot cut down trees you cannot destroy peoples property. What honor, what an example Muslims were even in times of war. After the battles there were many prisoners of war. Some of the companions wanted to kill them but our prophet was a mercy to mankind, he said, everyone will take a prisoner into their own homes. You will not tie them up but when they walk you walk with them. You feed them equal mouth full of food. You will not hurt them at all. Then came the ransom, those who fought and were caught as prisoners they were ransomed back to their families based on their wealth. Those who families were poor the prophet let some go. But, because knowledge and education was big in Islam and the people back them were mostly unlettered, our prophet said, to the prisoners, if anyone of you can teach 10 Muslims to read and write, you will be released: amazing ! Most of the prisoners after living amongst the Muslim for days, weeks and months a large amount was so impressed with the Muslims that they reverted and did not go back to their families. Many reverted and left to get their wives and children to live and grow with the Muslims. Islam is the way. I will pray for you.

I was guided to Islam. My family are all catholics. My parents died upon disbelief. We really need to fear Allah and worship him alone. I lived that life of darkness. I am always amazed at those who were born into Islam with muslims parents taking it for granted. Some arrogantly presuming its a given. Some of us or rather many of us who embraced Islam and particularly at a much older age are still battling many desires. Why would those born into Islam yearn for those wretched desires? May Allah indeed guide us all and give us a good ending.

Watched the entire 20 minutes with a huge grin on my face. Alhamd lillah for guiding you into Islam. It is quite the story how you reverted to Islam and its particularly amazing because to think when people saw you at the peak of your rap career, they would never think a few years later you would change your life like that. subhan allah it makes me realize, contradicting to what i have previously thought, a person can never be too far gone because if Allah subhanuh wa ta'laa' wishes for you guidance, you will be guided.

This is amazing and I would love to learn more about Islam.How does a woman convert...?
@AbuWalter Жыл бұрын
U can convert on your own just read the kaleema or shahada and if you need help the best way is to go to the madjid and ask for a sister to help u
@naurina3702 Жыл бұрын
Salam sister just read your comment now. If you haven't still converted, then all you do with sincerity is to say the declaration (shahada) yourself for example 'there is no diety except Allah and mohammed, peace be upon him is his messenger'. You become a muslim. Then you need to make contact with any practising muslim sisters to learn about islam. Some mosques have special programmes for woman to learn about islam, it will be beneficial to enquire about these at a local mosque. The majority of muslims follow the 'sunni' sect. Ensure the mosque follow the sunni religion and also be mindful of any islam literature online that it is written from the sunni religion perspective. I hope this helps.
