That's the stripping drum, it did its job, the other two drums, and there are many more available, are the finishing drums. They can make that metal trunk lid have a mirror finish. 👍👍

Thank you for just presenting what it is, what it does and how it does it, without typical KZfaqrs trying to drag 10 min+ to monetize and make us hate all the ads.

I'm pretty sure the Eastwood one and this one are the exact same tool rebranded.

I recommend an N95 dust mask with these things. I find the air is full of this dust for some time when it’s paint in particular. It’s like angle grinding where if I forget a mask or respirator, I’m sneezing crap out of my nose for a couple of hours and who knows what’s left in my lungs? If used carefully, these things can put a frilly great finish on metal surfaces. If that means something, then they’re really worth it. If you don’t care, then maybe they’re not, other than they save time.

I’m about to use mine . What speed did you have yours on ?

It was a year ago so I don't recall. I know i needed to fiddle with it going from stripping to just polishing. So you're likely to have to play around anyway based on what surface you are faced with

Are the drums for each brand the same? What about longevity of the drum?

Don't know about interchange as I don't have the other one to compare. I haven't used it a lot, but haven't worn out the drum yet
