Thanks for your informative videos. I usually come to Rome for a month or so in the winter and would be interested in your thoughts about short trips to the islands. Specifically, Capri, Ischia and Procida during the winter months.

Piazza Navona underground hosts concerts during the warmer months. And yes, Babingtons is the greatest if you like all things with that British flavour. Also consider Villa Medici, palazzo Farnese, il gianicolo, cappuccini Church on via Veneto (but only if you don't mind skulls), Necropolis, TIVOLI, Cinecitta, Eur and its square colosseo. My personal favourite is wondering about the Jewish ghetto and reading the stumbling stones - a surreal experience.

I’m really excited I’m going to Rome at the very end of September! I am trying to pick the tours and different stuff I want to do. It looks like the colosseum, Roman forum, and palatine hill is grouped together and the Vatican museums, Sistine chapel, and St. Peter’s basilica is grouped together. I’m your option is it worth it to do the tours? Or is it something we can do on our own? Should we do both or one better than the other? I’m kinda of leaning towards doing the Vatican tour if we only pick one but I have no idea 😩 help please lol
