Today was a VERY busy and crazy Touristenfahrten Sunday - even in traffic i could set the right reference laptime of 7:30 min for my new laptimer system, while my Friends Bahram (991 GT3 RS) and Dimi (Devotec M4) were pushing me through green hell ;-) perfect to check the Rearcam and for some free laps soon ;-) so .. now you see the real GPS Speed, G-Force etc. - Nürburgring Nordschleife - Touristenfahrten TF BTG onboard

Hammer Runde ! Noch ein LLK und Downpipe für die Thermik. 7:25 wäre bestimmt noch drin gewesen wenn die zu überholenden besser aufpassen würden. Deine und Maody's Videos waren der Grund das ich anfang August 3 Runden Nordschleife fahren musste ! Danke jetzt bin ich auch süchtig

Großartige Runde, Thilo! **Hut ab** und **Daumen hoch** Genau an der Stelle im Wippermann (05:40) hatte ich auch immer den Ölnebel, als es bei mir damals anfing mit dem Ölproblem. Ich kann Dir wirklich nur raten, Dir schnellstmöglich das VWR Catch Tank System (aber nur das, denn andere Systeme helfen bei dem EA888.3-Problem nicht wirklich) verbauen zu lassen. Sonst geht es Dir demnächst auch so wie mir, dass in der Eiskurve das Auto in den Notlauf fällt und Du alle drei/vier Runden einen Liter Öl nachfüllen musst. Es gibt einige aus dem Golf-R-Lager, die das Ding mittlerweile erfolgreich verbaut haben.

@eXeLeNeRgY: Das zu erklären, wird aber jetzt länger. ;-) Es ist ein konstruktives Problem, das alle EA888.3 Motoren der VAG-Gruppe betrifft. Es tritt aber erst ab einer gewissen negativen und/oder Querbeschleunigung auf, die der Normalfahrer niemals erreichen wird. Schnelle Rundenzeiten und hohe G-Kräfte sind dafür erforderlich, die man üblicherweise nur mir Semis und einer gewissen Erfahrung erreicht. Vereinfacht drückt das Öl im Kurbelgehäuse zu stark nach oben. Von dort kann es nicht mehr schnell genug zurück fließen und der Druck erhöht sich so weit, dass das Öl durch die Kurbelgehäuseentlüftung nur einfach rausgedrückt wird (Entlüftung = Flattermembran). Von dort führt ein Schlauch zurück, sodass das rausgedrückte Öl wieder angesaugt wird und durch den Turbo in die Brennräume gelangt. Wenn es zu viel wird, verschlammt als Spätfolge irgendwann der ganze Motor (+ Peripherie). Am Ende meldet auch die Lambda falsche Werte durch das viele Öl im Abgas. Auch der Zündwinkel wird stark zurückgenommen wegen der unsauberen Verbrennung. Folge: starker Leistungsverlust (bei mir damals über 20%!). Das Catch Tank System von VWR fängt nicht nur außen das austretende Öl auf (wie alle Catch Tank Systeme - das würde hier aber nicht reichen), anstatt es wieder der Verbrennung zuzuführen. Sondern es sorgt auch auf der Innenseite dafür, dass erst gar nicht die Menge an Öl rausgedrückt wird, sondern nur noch ein Bruchteil davon. Wie gesagt, bei meinem Golf R (leider gab es damals keine Lösung für das Problem), musste ich am Ende alle 3-4 Runden NoS einen Liter Öl nachfüllen. Nur, um einen Eindruck von der Menge zu bekommen. Im Straßenverkehr hat mein R hingegen Null Öl verbraucht.

Mit die geilste Fahrt ever! Top! Die Mehrleistung konnte der M4 Fahrer nur auf den längeren geradeaus Teilstücken ausspielen. In den kurvigen Bereichen hast du den Vorteil gehabt, durch dein Fahrkönnen. Vor allem nach Karussell war die Sache "gegessen". ;-)

It should be still OK for regular synthetic oils, thermal breakdown should begin around 150°C.

The initial grip in your cupra is insane, that m4 is faster in straights indeed, but that's it .. light traffic, shame you lost a bit with the bm (what was he thinking ..) and the skoda .. M4 position in the carroussel, not mecanic friendly !

Hey there. 1st .. VERY good plan to meet the Ring in real life!! 2nd .. no this is not possible .. sorry dude. There are official Ringtaxi drivers and cars you can book .. from M3 .. to GT3RS and AMG GTR .. from 4 seater to 2 seater .. but only they can do it .. cause official license. sorry!

What a amazing lap great stuff as always but i gotta ask where are the Megane?? Have they taken vaction or are they less Xperianced then you? Also what is that blue smoke still lol?? I have had some friends on Seat before this and many have had some issue with their cars? is this something you notice now??

thx .. yes that lap was real fun! Meganes are there .. one you see at the beginning .. but tire problems .. and bahram is following in his GT3RS ;) The Oil Problem is a typical VW Problem .. hopefully solved in a few days/weeks

+Hinterherfahrer Bahram ;-) also schwedenkreuz hat echt Überwindung gekostet stehen zu lassen 😂😂 das fühlt sich nicht schön an 🙈 ...aber ja , ich bin echt zufrieden 😁...Kessel geb lt GPS aber "nur" 229 .. aber auch nochmal deutlich flotter ;)

A lot of the time if you modify a newer car a side effect if the check engine light it always on. I am guessing a sensor somewhere is confused because at the factory it was promised a nice life as a commuter car but now it has clearly become a racecar.

Thanks. The views setup in the GTR video is , to me, preferable than in this here video. But still my favourite view setup and the sizing of the views is like the video you published on Jul 23, 2017. I understand that this new view gives MORE information. In the "old" view setup we see less top of dashboard, the camera was better angled to offer full view out of the windshield. I also liked seeing your tachometer and odometer from your car, it added reality, liveliness . Thank you for sharing your videos and making them so enjoyable, you are the Boss.

derbigpr500 It's well built from the factory. He really isn't pushing it, stock internals can handle much more than the power he is running. Of course being so often on the track, it's preferable to stay at this level for reliability.

Will nicht wissen wie viele Bremsen und Reifen du da verballerst pro Jahr. Die Serienbremsen in meinem lahmen Corolla sind nach 3 12min Runden im Straßenverkehr spürbar schlechter geworden. (Könnten aber auch Jahre alt sein und die Bremsflüssigkeit net mehr dolle, Pedal wurde in Breidscheid in der zweiten Runde schon seeehr weich)
