Yeah I live near Seattle and if you go to a place with no pokestops the nearby tracking disappears. But when you come back in range of pokestops it comes back. Honestly haven't used it because nothing good has shown up on the nearby yet just rattta pidgeys and weedles mostly all commons

I have a question for you. When you shop in pokemon go and pokeballs - do they also come with great balls and ultra balls included or there is another way to get them without having to spin pokestops.

The thing that people are forgetting is, there is a tracking system but it's still in beta in San Francisco so when that comes out of beta that will be the new tracker for the game

I was randomly outside with my friends, just chilling and then Lapras came to sightings, we didn't have him so tried him. My friends' CP was 250 and my one was 1800, I was so happy when I got him

The new tracker is ok, but not all good either. For one thing, it drops your normal sightings down to just three. If there's more around you will have no idea (and it's STILL not accurate on what's closest to you actually). The good (?) part is if you're not near pokestops the nearby list disappears, so you go back to being able to see 9 in sightings. I did pick up an extra Charmander today by seeing what pokestop it was near, so it can be helpful. I just don't think it's the greatest solution.

Yeah, I'm not surprised. I do think this would be slightly more useful in a pokestop dense area. But beyond that, not really helpful. Especially since it disappears like everything else when driving.

Niantic is really blowing it rn. I live next to like 4 pokestops, all of them are a few hundred yards apart. This is completely useless, and even if I lived in a big city there's no point in tracking a Pokemon that I already have/don't need. They should at least simultaneously release gen 2

hello :) my best lapras catch in level 29 was 2513 cp ice shard oce beam 82.2 IV :) now I will hit lvl 33 never catched better :) wish you luck. my egg lapras ice breath and blizzard 91iv will hit over 2600 after I will finish power upping :)

Do you not understand how OP it is with sites like FastPoke when you can catch Lapras and Snorlax almost every single day?? It should not be possible, honestly it ruins the game. Good on Niantic for shutting it down.

Sure they could do a better job with that, but OP trackers like FastPoke that shows you everything spawning in an entire city would still exist and people would still use them because they're lazy and like stuff that's OP. If you ever played the original games there were no tracker, you ran around and explored stuff. Should be that way in Pokemon Go too, but people are lazy.

You're wrong about everything. Plenty of people who play this game are old enough to drive, just google it and you'll find out that this game is being played by people of all ages. Secondly FastPoke and trackers like it woudl definitely have been made regardless, because they are so OP and people want that because they are lazy motherfuckers. I've played the game pretty actively since a couple of weeks after it came out and I have 4 Lapras and 6 Snorlax (without using FastPoke etc), it's not like it's hard, but it you have to get up and move and play the game like it's supposed to be played. Being able to catch Snorlax and Lapras on the daily is retarded.

the fun part of the game for me is finding cool and rare pokemons, not chasing after near by pokemons aimlessly looking like an idiot and end up not getting it. the new tracker will only be good if you have pokestops, so its going to be useless in rural areas. OP or not, the site was helping the finding pokemons which is the point of the game. not everyone gets Lapras and snorlax everyday, or sometimes ever.

I had it on my screen, used the berry, and threw an ultra ball which missed.. went to throw another.. phone had that loading symbol.. and then I got "Network Error".. restarted and it was gone..
