**Correction: the letter periods do work, but you need to be zoomed into the profiles for them to show. Otherwise they revert to blocks. Similar to the volume values in the volume profile rows** Really glad TradingView finally released this Beta version of the indicator and more upgrades are definitely expected. It is part of the Profiles indicators so you do require a paid membership to use. It is a great starting point for the basics of TPO charts. So far I have seen that the main limitations when compared to other platforms are: - Not able to split it between futures trading sessions (ETH and RTH) - No marking or extensions for Singles and Poor Highs/Lows - No ability to do Composites or Splits

you can see the letters once you zoom in alot. The blocks will change to letters at a certain zoom point

No, I have not seen any real indicators for it on TV so far.

Actually u can split/merge profiles because you choose in settings how many days market profile u want to see. So you try fit the profile with right number of days and your profile is merged.

That is one way to merge but then it would do it for every X periods on the whole chart. Usually you want to manually merge certain balanced areas in specific each with different number of periods. And with the split I mean breaking it down into 30 minute individual periods so you can look at how it developed. It's basically the same as looking at a 30min candlestick chart in a way, but it's nice to see the split/regular TPO side by side as you can do In Sierra and other platforms.

You need to play around with the market you trade. I showed Bitcoin in the video and I think around 750 or so looked good.

They’ve made some changes. You can now split profiles, and merge with previous as well. What’re you thoughts on this change and has there been any other changes with Single Prints and Weak Hi and Lo’s?

I made an updated video on those changes recently. But still work to do. The profile splitting is tricky to use I feel and you can split everything which for me is not that useful. I like to just have the current session profile side by side in split and regular view. Singles and Poor highs and lows seem to be working well. I think just more customized controls for splitting and merging would be good. Also their auto adjust tick size is bad. I always manually set the row size for a specific market to get the best resolution.

For US30 how many ticks per Row ?

I don't trade US30 myself but I checked and the price scale is similar to the SP500 so about 4-5 per row was a good definition on the 30m chart. the bigger the price scale (like NQ or BTC) the more rows needed.
