New Traeger Timberline Burn Off Review. This new Traeger grill certainly carries a big price tag but filled with technology in the D2 Direct Drive WiFi controller. So is this the right pellet grill for you? The Burn Off is very important for every new pellet grill and Traeger has made it so you have no choice but to do it the first time you fire it up! It does run very long but plan for about 2 hours because once you get through the Seasoning Cycle you will be waiting for a while for the firmware update to finish. So I have a lot of tests to run on this pit and more to show you on the Traeger Timberline XL. Leave me a comment on what you think about this pit but this is a white glove affair so no smudge marks!!! ha ha
