New trailer of next manga, Grendizer Giga from Go Nagai

Finalmente l'attesa è finita è i rumors si sono tramutati in qualcosa di più vero e concreto.
E' arrivato il primo trailer del Manga Grendizer Giga e sembra veramente di pregevole fattura.
Sembra essere sparito Koji Kabuto dalla storia ma la cosa sarà sicuramente approfondita durante questo periodo di teasing.

I don't understand people's nostalgia in terms of their hate towards a attempt of revamping a legendary series. yes Im no where near in terms of age compared to some fans but mind u I am 17. the moment my father put on mazinger z and great mazinger I loved it then when i saw Kaiser my eyes jolted. then with mazinger z shin I was able to enjoy the legend known as go nagai again. Please don't bash a attempt for a new series just for nostaliga. I want the new generation to known these legends are. hell my lil sister and brother who are 2 and 5 love Mazinger Z. I always wanted to see a new grendaizer this is the chance if this manga does very well.

I find it fair to renew a character that has become famous among us. But I am of the opinion that it is not necessary to distort the story and the character. The mistake committed by many authors is in their presumption of innovating at all cost something that once worked to the great- Innovation must be the result of brilliant ideas that must justify any change, instead of following stupidaments of fashion-making at all costs, without having a clutter of well-defined ideas. So a myth is destroyed, just enough to ruin what good has been built.

..esattamente quello che mi aspettavo, come ho già detto in altra sede la magia di quei meravigliosi anni è stata spazzata via, però ero preparato a questo.I personaggi poi sono stati distrutti completamente e "ipersessualizzati" come in ogni nuovo prodotto di intrattenimento moderno.Che brutta epoca ci tocca vivere sotto ogni aspetto.Non metto in dubbio che a qualcuno possa piacere, ma credo che una parte di chi è cresciuto come con questi "cartoni" sarà abbastanza deluso..

@@tofu_it981 io ho ci sono cresciuto con Goldrake, o come lo vuoi chiamare, e per me le differenze sono lampanti.Ho sottolineato, a molti piacerà, e non ho nulla in contrario ci mancherebbe. Sono un disegnatore di professione e a me la grafica "moderna"e il carattere dei personaggi attuali non piace.

@@luka6667777 I gusti non si discutono, però parlare di "ipersessualizzazione" (che poi è un termine che significa veramente poco, è una fisima delle femministe contemporanee) da un lato sembra ignorare i lavori originali di Nagai, dall'altro a dirla tutta, dimentica pure che a quel tempo la facevano da padrone le tettone della Marchesa Yanus, della Regina Himika o le minigonne svolazzanti di Jun e Miwa. Insomma tutto qui, a prescindere da gusti e stile.

@@tofu_it981 ripeto da quel poco che ho visto, la direzione che prende l'opera a me non piace, il discorso dell'ipersessualizzaione non è riferito solo a quest'opera, o quelle passate, basta guardare una qualunque serie di NETflix. Da quel poco che ho visto nel promo di Goldrake mi sembra che la piega sia del tutto diversa dal passato.Non incontra il mio gusto, tutto qui.

Se parliamo della qualità del disegno tanto di cappello ma si può sapere perché oggi deve essere tutto ultrastramega estremizzato? Nelle leggendarie serie originali il protagonista affrontava (penso per un sadomasochistico senso dell'onore dei cattivi che ritenevano brutto mandare un esercito di robot contro uno solo) uno massimo due nemici per episodio talvolta cavandosela per il rotto della cuffia. Adesso spara un raggio e con un colpo solo annienta nell'ordine 10.000 robot nemici, la nave madre degli invasori e tre quarti del pianeta di questi ultimi. Così proprio non mi piace.

For those who expected a sort of sequel to the original series... this is a reinvention of UFO Robot Grendizer... and the animation has the only objective of promoting the comic book. And for those who are disappointed... it's good to keep in mind the possibility that the latest works of Go Nagai are those in which the author has been more free to express himself (without having to compromise with the Toei point of view, for example).

Premesso che l'Ufo Robot Goldrake ha una dimensione romantica, d'avventura e d'umanità inarrivabile (per cui la penso esattamente come te) ho letto il manga di questo nuovo Goldrake.... Allora, Maria non è la sorella (lo è solo apparentemente) ma un droide costruito per difendere il principe di Fleed (una specie di guardia del corpo, diciamo di avvenente...guardia del corpo). Così come la brunetta è Cutie Honey, un personaggio storico di Go Nagai (droide terrestre che può trasformarsi in otto modo diversi, però tra una trasformazione e l'altra diventa nuda per poi assumere l'aspetto che vuole...): una eroina nobile d'animo ma dall'alto tasso erotico.... E anche Rigel e Boss sono due specie di robot inventati dallo stesso scienziato che ha creato Cutie Honey: quindi anche loro sembrano uguali ai personaggi storici, ma sono differenti per carattere e capacità (essendo robot...) Insomma: è un Goldrake inserito, diciamo in modo fine, in una specie di universo alternativo. Gli alieni poi (anche rispetto ai manga, dove Zuril era uno scienziato che voleva conquistare la Terra eliminando i terresti ma preservando la bellezza del pianeta) sono super aggressivi (uno entra in una scuola e fa una strage stile terrorismo, fermato solo da Cutie Honey). In altri termini: un Goldrake che non ha nulla che fare con l'Ufo Robot Goldrake che abbiamo conosciuto noi.... (per senso d'umanità. avventura, senso di squadra, perché è sempre la squadra che vince ed ad un certo punto persino Actarus mette il concetto su questo aspetto) Oserei dire purtroppo è anche un segno dei tempi che cambiano....

realbismark It's just a new Grendizer. Nagai does this all the time with his works. People are angry because they never knew the man in the first place. The Toei animated version of Grendizer isn't really Nagai's version.

Nell'epoca della computer grafica e dell'animazione digitale un cartone stile anni 90 con tanto di maggiorate, sailormoon e fighetti sudati. Poi Goldrake che sta seduto in un astronave e poi con il mantello svolazzante..... ma che se so fumati? Molto ma molto più intrigante la versione amatoriale. Ragazzi cercate ufo king goldrake e ditemi se non è 100 volte meglio. I pochissimi disegni animati (frutto di una sola persona a tempo perso) sono comunque più sobri e molto più convincenti come anche il restiling di goldrake

Well, at last, the wait is over and Grendizer is HERE. However, changes made by the author aren't impressive.. he took Duke Fleed out and edited almost all Characters.. he never did that to Mazinger when he made the remake as Mazinkiser. I knew Mr Nagai hated the fact that Grendizer was far more successful than the Mazingas, at least outside Japan.

***** We still have Duke...if we recall that Duke Fleed goes by the name of Daisuke Umon in the original. So, Daisuke Uryu could be this version Duke Fleed....of course, thanks to my cynicism, I'm a bit wary that there's no Kouji in this one.

The real Grendizer is the one from 1978, piloted by a 30-year-old man who built up muscles and calluses on his hands, turning the hay and shoveling horse shit while working on the Danbei farm

per andare meio per dire cari miei bisognerebbe snobbare coloro che vanno solo per il guadagno,ma purtroppo il consumismo frega a tutti,per me il goldrake verrebbe bene come src e soc entrambi posabili e ad un costo accessibile tipo 60 euro per il primo e 110 per il secondo e una figure piu' grande tipo 50 cm sui 160 massimo poi se vogliamo attenerci coi cartoni della nostra infanzia rimaniamoci e se a go nagai garba sta manifattura significa soldi e adeguamento coi tempi,i ragazzi de oggi potrebbero snobbare er vecchio goldrake e quindi perdite di denaro e merchandise,come dire che noi ex bambini fanciulli valiamo zero per il mercato odierno

To all the haters out there, the original Grendizer you grew up was nowhere close to what Grendizer would have been if Nagai had total control. Finally, we have Grendizer that aligns with Nagai's vision; badass robots, sexy robotic women in vaguely erotic outfits, battle ogres (far more intimidating than the stupid saucers in the original). Did anyone complain that MazinSaga was a completely different beast from the original Mazinger Z? Noo...?? Why complain now? If you're a true Go Nagai fan, you will like Giga. If you only grew up with Toei's Grendizer, then you'll most likely hate this. Again, the problem is not with the series itself, it's people with nostalgia.

the problam is not so much what this version shows but mostly the design which is ugly ! Then we can also have demosn like in Mazinger no great problems.

Getter Zinger You know, then fuck Go Nagai. People choose who they want. Not the show, and not the author.Goldrake was an intelligent show, not like ("BOOM BOOM DESTROY BITCH SHOW ME YA BOOB oWo."). It could be better!

+Muhammed M no hagas tanto drama, debes aprender que el manga es asi, siempre hay desnudos, quizas en tu tiempo no, pero toda la vida el manga mostraba desnudos, Go Nagai le gustaba eso, y lo mostro mas claramente en Devilman.

la bellezza del primo e irrangiungibile Goldrake era proprio la storia e i personaggi, un Actarus adottato dalla terra col suo pianeta distrutto (riprende un po la storia di Superman in effetti) e la drammaticità del suo personaggio e di quelli che lui ama! poi i disegni ormai oggi sono tutti uguali, tutti fantocetti schizzati uguali e anche il tipo di regia diciamo, sempre troppo videoclippata, quando quelle vecchie erano comprensibili e straordinarie! le musiche poi lasciamo perdere, quelle originali del primo Goldrake sono inavvicinabili.

This is horrible!! I'm one of those who still adore Grendizer. I love it to death but what the hell have you done now?? After all those years of love, you have killed us along with our admiration of your fancy work by changing the true characters to this awful version of them!! This is not a wise move ! it's a true disappointment and disaster to the fans and the show .. it's totally the opposite of what the original Grendizer taught us when we were kids, where are the values of the anime? ..this is a big mistake ..I used to respect Go Nagai but not after watching this awful version of Grendizer. This is very sad..My only hope is to never issue it on TV like the old series you've ruined it enough..

If you read the manga and you think it's Just decent, you all have a bad opinion, grendizer was a mature anime even if the target was for childrens, now read the manga of grendizer giga, It can be good for a totally different mecha anime, but don't call It grendizer

hanno rovinato goldrake ..che schifezza assoluta..capisco che debbano modificare un po' la grafica poiche' e di 30 anni fa...ma questo e uno scempio...mi meraviglio di gonagai..che fa passare rovinare il suo nome e quello che ha creato...secondo me una bufala che non vendera' tanto come nenache il nuovo jeeg altra cagata pazzesca..contenti loro dopo questo nagai puo' ritirarsi in un convento a vita...
