Identifying hormone-positive breast cancer, or ER+ PR+ breast cancer, which has cancer cells with estrogen (ER) and progesterone (PR) receptors, is important to guide treatment. Symptoms like lump in the breast, change in shape, and discharge from the nipple raise suspicion of cancer. Accurate diagnosis requires tests such as immunohistochemistry (IHC). In Delhi, India, treatment depends on the stage (Stage 1 to Stage 4). Treatment for this cancer includes drugs such as hormone therapy (tamoxifen, letrozole, anastrozole and fulvestrant), in addition to surgery, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and radiotherapy. Newer treatments include targeted therapies (capivasertib, everolimus, alpelisib, palbociclib or Palbace, ribociclib or Kryxana, abemaciclib or Ramiven), which are particularly important for the treatment of metastases that have spread to the bone, lung, or brain.
Mammography is important, with an emphasis on early detection. Awareness of the side effects of treatment is extremely important. This is a special cancer in which even in stage 4, survival is 5-8 years or more. Doctor I really need your help. 2 months ago my sister was diagnosed lymphoma in breast and lymph nodes in armpit. In 2020 she's diagnosed calcification on same breast and operation was done. In the same year again she's diagnosed bowel cancer, operated and removed 8 inches. At the moment she's taking targeted therapy and immune therapy. Informative video sir Sir meri mom ko CA Breast metastatic hai 12weekly Paclitaxel inj done last cycle 3august 2023 with monthly zoldronic acid continue after chemo palbociclib and letrozole continue but at present new petcity report 20march 2024 cancer shows in 0.2 in liver Dr.. suggested stopped palbociclib or letrozole and started injection fulventrast 500mg quartely with combination of tab capecitabine 500 ....plz Suggested sir which one is better chemo /palbociclib+letrozole /injection fulventrast+capecitabine plz sir reply or any no.. for query

Very informative vedio doctor.. even my doctor couldn't explain .. about my treatment so deep.. ur a god sent angel.. im a stage 4 ER PR positive with skeletal metastasis .. its been 2 years now.. my last 3 pet scan shows no tumor. complete metabolic response and im on letrozole and ribociclib.. Doctor is therr any chance of stopping these drugs because my quality of life is becoming horrible due to this drug.. im into a clean diet exercise yoga and other alternative therapy im jus 36 and wish to have a second baby..kindly respond. . Hi... You need to take this drug indefinitely. Do not stop it. Pregnancy might not be possible for you right now but research is going on, maybe it might become possible in future. Currently survival is more important than second child

“My mother (57) has been diagnosed with metastatic stage 4 Breast cancer (ER+,PR-,Her2- score1)which has spread to her (Brain, Lung, Liver and Bone) as of 8/2/24. She’s getting Paclitaxel Chemo 9times once a week(3 are done” She started getting radiation in November and December 2023 ( radiation to back bone,breast, and brain)at that time spread of Ca was limited, Then later she was on target therapy(Palbociclib) &hormone therapy(Letrozole) taking this accelerated the disease then got a PET CT and got to know it has spread to Liver also. Please suggest if treatment is right or wrong

Sir, I can share all pet ct reports. Could you please share your email id? Sbse phle left breast and lungs me tha. Vocal cord bhi paralysed ho gye the. Palbace lene k bad lungs me se to remove ho gya. By the time bones me bhi ho gya h. Paabace had stopped working then doctor recommended everolimous and exmestane. But everolimous was stopped after 4 months due to the severe side effects. Now she is taking only exmestane.

Sir. My mother is stage 4 BC (left breast, LN, Bone, lung) patient. Harmone positive. 1st line Letrozole + palbace. 2nd line Fulvestrant + piqray 3rd line Everolimus + exemestane. Then Chemo paclitaxel single agent 10 cycles. And today pet CT show decrease with inactive metabolic activity in bones. Now suggested to take tamoxifen And have chemo break. Please suggest if taking tamoxifen right now is valid And suggested? Or should continue paclitaxel??
