Since its release, the Black Bay line really has been the line Tudor has become most synonymous with. And it's hard not to be, when nearly everything the brand releases is a Black Bay in some way shape or form. The launch of the original 58 in 2018 is easily one of the best additions to this line, with its 39mm case being perhaps the most approachable dimensions of any in the line. The release of this new blue variant expands this even more, even though it may only be a color change on the surface, because it goes a long way in really creating an environment where there truly is a Black Bay for everybody.

The black bay is one of those collections where the more you look at it (and its varities), the more it grows on you. I'm loving their green/harrods collab colour scheme

Really a great alternative to the Smurf. Until now the Pelagos was the closest to the Smurf, but the case size was just too big for me. Hopefully I can get my hands on this new BB58 soon

Just to make a correction- Tudor did innovate for the black bay 58, it wasn't just a colour change; They had to create a thinner movement for the 58 line. Tudor has innovated at a very great pace. The first generation of black bays (Rose) came with an ETA, then the second gen (shield logo) came with an in-house caliber and then the 58 with an upgrade of the in-house caliber

I was able to pick one up day one. I have a few Rolex watches but still enjoy Tudor. Really love the navy blue

Christian- nice job. The production quality and macro shots really help highlight the piece- very well done. Fully agreed, BTW. The restraint and gradual honing of this model line have produced a very wearable watch that is not merely a design fad.

Hi could you be kind enough to do a small video on watch boxes. Most of the ones I buy on Amazon... the watches keep flopping around. The cousins don't fit snugly in the slots.

Here in France the new BB58 Blue is very available. I called around a couple of dealers and they both have them in stock today. In fact one told me they received six of them last week and still have four available. It's a great looking watch and I think has more going for it than the standard BB58 which is classy but lacks vibrancy and ooomph.

3rd slightly misaligned (55s) arrow on the 12 lume pip, LWC and Bark and Jack recent vids were the same, Qc lacking?

100% agree, not ground breaking but a cool addition to the line for those who are not into gilt dials. Personally, I think they could’ve knock it out of the park if they went for square snowflake indices as well, although it makes sense why they didn’t
