The 2024 Mazda CX-30 is a new trim with a new color Zircon Sand for the CX-30. The Carbon Turbo also features amazing Terracotta interior.
Along with the 250 HP SkyActiv G Turbo engine, this vehicle also includes the big screen of 10.25” size, heated seats, 8-way power driver’s seat, and USB C.

Thanks.I am going to get a new Mazda CX30 Carbon Turbo this coming Saturday in US Texas. I am over excited as I took the Test drive and it was amazing. Its indeed Turboooooo 😂

I can’t wait to get my 2024 CX-30. I didn’t get the turbo engine but in Canada, I went with the GT trim which has the Bose 12 speaker audio, and all features except the Turbo engine. I went with machine grey metallic exterior and the garnet red leather interior. If all goes well the delivery date is around the end of December. Best Xmas gift for myself ever!

We bought a '22 Preferred in Soul Red last year, we may be looking at this model late next year if it's time to upgrade, but will this interior choice be offered across the board on other higher end editions with other exterior colors?

I just picked up one of these a few days ago at Mastria Mazda in Raynham, MA. Turbo is a hoot to drive, love it!!!

@@JSS Thanks! This is my third Mazda. The quality level on Mazda's is very high, I haven't experienced any problems whatsoever with any of them. I have no doubts the turbo will be equally as dependable. I enjoy your channel, thanks for all your great Mazda vids!

Totally dig this model. More simplistic aesthetic inside and out. I like there being a basic 2.5 L engine. I’ve had turbos and they can be problematic

Three questions: (1) Does this model have cylinder deactivation, and can it be turned off? (2) Is the turbo constantly running, or only activated when power is needed? (3) Can the vehicle operate without the turbo if it should fail? I would really appreciate the info, since I’m seriously considering the CX-30 over the CX-5. Really loving the looks of this machine, so THANKS.

very nice except i don't like the black rubber wheel wells and under panel. If they can cut it back to may b around 2 inch it looks a lot better i think.

@@gailenrique2804 I do but not all the time. I think most ppl drive in the city majority of the time. Also I'm not asking for major shift in the power curve, may 5-10% slight shift. I think a 7 sp may help.

This would have looked so nice fully painted but that black cladding is way to much and so large its almost the dominant color on the vehicle.

I prefer to stay away from turbo engines in-general from any manufacturer, as well as anything with either stop/start or cylinder-deactivation engine tech. I'm glad that my 2022 CX-30 CE has none of that.

I have 2020 Mazda 6 signature package with Turbo I'm going to return it coz it's a lease, but all this time I had Zero problem with turbo and with a car over all Got a cx5 turbo for my dad 3months ago, still no problems

@@MoonPresence-fg8dn Those added engine complexities don't age well in terms of problem-free reliability of a vehicle & each have specific idiosyncrasies that have to be navigated. All of those technologies also have a history of problems/issues/recalls of some sort. it's just adding more likely failure points to a vehicle for little benefit.

@@arman8097 Problems with turbo engines usually manifest themselves not long after powertrain warranty expires, especially if they are aren't maintained & driven in a very specific way. So, it usually becomes an issue for people who keep vehicles longer, buy used vehicles and/or don't follow aggressive maintenance schedules (oil changes every 3K-4K). Smaller displacement turbo engines are the worst timebombs of the bunch though, such as a 1.3L or 1.5L turbo engine. Look up the Car Care Nut video on turbo engines here on YT for a good breakdown of information & specifically how they should be driven & maintained to make them as problem-free as possible.

It appears to be a beautiful car, but I want to see it on the road and your driver's evaluation. Quit ooohing and aaaawing over the interior for 30 minutes!

Too bad they haven't resolved the oil consumption on the turbos. I'll pass. I'd rather have a slower cx30 than a blown engine

i thought i read they fixed it in 21'-22'. I bought a 23' Turbo but am only 1 oil change in. 6000kms so far, and i've checked oil levels every couple days because i'm paranoid. i'll keep you updated.

They have fixed it. I had the issue with my turbo and they were able to do the repair in 4 hours. 20,000 miles later and no issues. It was only with some 2021 and 2022 models. I have a 2021.

We have a Subaru Forester Touring and the first thing we found astonishing about the SUV was the amount of glass and how it feels like you are in a touring bus. Amazing visibility in all directions. I'm adjusted to it now, but for weeks, I was amazed every time I drove it. I still love the car. It has adequate power to cruise at 80 or 85 all day. We took it into the mountains of Missouri and it handled beautifully. May be looking at the 25 model which will be introduced next spring sometime as it is a refined redesign of the Forester. The quality of the Forester is top notch, too. We get a combined mileage of around 31-32 mpg.
