Ah, yes, u-joints. With my luck, I've had a needle bearing turn sideways in the bearing cap and lodge between the cap and the joint end multiple times. Had to take it all apart and start over. I also had the u-joint retainer strap stretch from age in my Duster, causing the caps to rotate and loosen the c-clip so I had major vibration. Looks like it went pretty well on your Dodge. The ball joint tool is perfect for pressing u-joints. Getting the Moogs with the zerk in the cap is a must. Clocking the zerks on the driveshaft so they both face the same direction makes future grease jobs way easier. Interestingly enough, the taper needle grease tool that works in those mini zerks also works great on regular zerks in super tight quarters. The yokes on my Duster's driveshaft are so close together that a regular grease tool can't reach. Anyway, love the old Dodge truck content

Please, please, please.... PLEASE. No matter what! (No matter what the KZfaq algorithm tried to do in the past and/or what ANY random hater on the internet says...) PLEASE keep making these videos! You're clearly a wonderful creator, dad, husband, and DIY/"why not try it" enthusiast! A man after my own purpose... Love seeing the new videos, and though I personally enjoy the at-home DIY/how-to videos a bit more than the new car/fancy car upgrades, I will always watch! I just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate all the hard work you do and the great content you create! Thanks, man!

Do me a favor and share videos with your friends. :-) The algorithm doesn't give my channel much love.

I love my Tundra but there's nothing like the look of those mid 70s to mid 80s pickups. Also gotta shout out that vintage green on white WA plate - I miss those!

I had a 2001 Dodge Dakota V8 Magnum. That truck was awesome. Terrible gas mileage, but other than that it was great.

I am the same. First found this channel for the old dodge oil leak video taking about the oil pan and rear main seal replacement. Except for two braces that are on the newer 5.9/360’s it was exactly the same on my 96. Dodge Ram. I have been thinking my u-joints are near needing replacement and have also watched the ChrisFix video on u-joints. I will probably tackle that job next summer as I am only just starting to hear the clunk and nothing more. Keep up all the great content.

Great video. I love the care you put into the truck with your videos. My dad used to have an old power ram so it’s awesome to see your enthusiasm maintaining the vehicle. :)

Do a video on the Borgeson steering shaft replacement for these trucks. I just installed one. Unbelievable difference. You won’t regret it. There’s no videos as good as yours out there showing the process.

Jason I have a good video idea for you. One of the common issues these things hat is the steering box seals will go bad because of their age. They make seal repair kits that are available online all over the place. A cool video would be showing how to do the seal replacements. The first gen guys are always talking about it. Keep up the good work man

Maybe next time servicing the rear differential check the vent line, pretty sure it releases pressure while the differential heats up. My line was clogged with dirt and that may have blown out the gasket
