Too many characters I like, so I'll just be dumping whatever rolls I have on pretty much every banner and seeing where luck takes me.

nobody even acknowledges that zhu yuan has a unique core ability that only requires using a support unit, instead of everyone elses, faction, or element ones. it's just good, bcs there's a ton of supports rn, and this guy never ever mentioned supports 😭 he said stuns the most and anomaly Jane doe etc. etc. bangboos aswell. are we just gonna have the same bangboo options? nobody talks about them.

I'll probably skip 1.1 and 1.2 and focus on building a solid team with what I already have until they release some character that really catches my attention. (That lady from the Mad Max faction will be mine!)

One thing to raise on the Piper situation, since both seem to be anomoly it may actually be worth it to pair them to really stack up that assault buildup stupidly quickly

also Miyabi is set to be released in a future update but it's already confirmed that she's a S rank Ice anomaly and a part of the Section 6 faction, as she was playable in the closed beta so if you already own Ellen or Lycaon she's most likely going to be meta in ice teams in the future

Jane’s design is my absolute favorite right now. I’m definitely pulling for her, Miyabi, and hopefully the Sons of Calydon mommy who was sitting at the bar 🔥🔥

I'm gonna pull for Zhu Yuan since I have Nicole built. Plus after playing her in the story, she's sooooo fun to play. I like her fast pace and agile playstyle. My Anby is already M3 and I got Lycoan from standard banner so probably don't need Qingyi. After Zhu Yuan, I am looking forward to Harumasa and Miyabi. Especially Miyabi. I am wondering if she was switched to S rank because back in cbt1 she was A rank but was super popular there.

The way Hoyo structured the agent types in ZZZ reminds me of HSR. There's 8+ different types of teams (break, dot, hyper, fua, etc) and they all have different value in the various endgame activities. So with ZZZ, they might just slowly add a reason for players to value each agent type. Maybe right now the DPS/Stun/Support setup is the best, but who knows how many different combinations will end up being useful later. Also, knowing their intent is to "not punish players for taking breaks," the end-game difficulty might end up similar to Genshin, where you get to pull your favorite characters (as long as they're not excessively weak) and upgrade their teams over time as they get better teammates/equipment/etc. So unless Hoyo pulls a 180 and lies to us, there shouldn't be a reason not to pull for the characters you like.

Those missions where you can play Zhu Yuan completely sold me on her. I already liked her design, and Ether/Corruption as elements but playing her was great. Absolutely pulling for her, which means I'll probably pull for Qingyi as well, considering they'll likely pair quite well together. I imagine Zhu Yuan / Qingyi / Nicole will be THE ether DPS team until we eventually get a dedicated ether stun/anomaly character (or a "better Nicole" ether support). Ugh but Jane Doe IS tempting too, I love her rat design.

There is no way Jane is not going to be broken. We've seen how strong Piper is and she is an A rank character. Not only we can use her on a physical team for Assault builds, but her Disorder team with Grace will be insane. Her design is also great, so there's that as well.

I'm so pulling jane for disorder. Perfect element and her passive activates with another anomaly. Flinch to increase daze aswell. Seems like a sexy team. Yanagi+reni+jane for the win. And a physical bunny to secure assault lol Jane will likely be meta

I’m getting Zhu cause I like her playstyle and find her more fun plus i like using Nicole. Also if Zhu were to have the same way to get her core skill additional ability where you can use any support like the trial in the story I feel that may give her some potential in the future as a sub dps or something I’m not too sure just trying to think of an idea but after Zhu no clue who I’m gonna go for

I have Ellen and was planning to pull for Zhu Yuan and wait things out for when Section 6 drops. However, Jane and Seth are really appealing to me too!! I’m still sticking to Zhu Yuan bc I liked her, her playstyle, and find that elemental coverage is important. I also got C1 for Grace yesterday off the standard banner so if I pull for Jane I will probably be teaming her up with Grace and Seth if I’m lucky! Idk how well that will work out tbh, but could be fun lol 😂 I love Qingyi’s voice actor but I’m also on the fence about the design. I feel like if they had gone MORE visibly an android like Billy or Elfy with her design she would have been an intense Must Pull for me. For now, I will keep Anby even though I’m very bad at playing Anby with mobile.

Need Qingyi badly. I don't have a second stun character which is rough, and I randomly got insanely lucky and got M1 Zhu Yuan in like 40 pulls so investing in characters who support her is a good long term plan for me.

There's a lot of misunderstanding regarding Zhu Yuan (and upcoming units). Her passive works with PubSec and *Support* units, not Ether. We know this for a fact, not dreams, because you see this when you play her in-game and use her on your team. She still has synergy with Nicole, but only because Nicole is a Support unit, not an Ether unit.

Quick thought: whenever u talk about different characters 1 week into the game, please show em on screen haha. Fuck knows whos who after 1-2 weeks of release. Besides that great as always bro

I imagine elemental coverage is more important for the attacker/anomaly character right? You can probably make do with stunners and supports that are not of the element that counters a particular stage. Since we need two teams for Shiyu Defense, and assuming the above is correct, your second good stunner and your second good support are a high priority , but going for your third stunner and third support is probably low priority, right? So by that logic, QingYi is probably a *must-pull* if you only have Amby as a Stunner, it's a decent upgrade if you want to replace Amby with a 5* stunners, and it's probably a low value pull if for some reason you have both Lycaon and Koleda.

Jane has already appeared in two faction teasers, so I don't really understand why they're hiding her faction now? It's not like the info is hidden in any way

Pulling for ALL of 'em. Jane Doe to be my DPS for Lycaon/Rina/Anton, and Qingyi to be my stunner for Zhu Yuan/Nicole/Anby. Basically gunning for two Disorder main teams :D At least doing the dailies is a lot easier here than with Genshin.

Of the characters that are currently being drip fed info I think Jane looks great design wise but who knows what kind of character she will be. I'll likely pull for her after Zhu Yuan but I'm more curious to see what's going on with HSOS6 and Obol Squad. I'm really hoping Jane does a thing similar to HSR MC and she can either switch factions, or damage types as necessary

Regret building anby? Nah, especially since she’s my only stun unit right now. Even if i got qinyi there’s still a possibility of anby is still my other stun unit at that point. So i’d say building your anby is one of the best thing that we should do now.

If Qingyi is 5* Anby it’s not a stretch to say Jane is a 5* Piper. Definitely could work with Nekomata since she needs assault to maximize her damage. Cat and mouse hehe 🤭

Jane is NEPS and we all know it already because they showed it to us in the release trailer for ZZZ...!!! Anyway for now I will be pulling Zhu Yuan because I like the Ether element and I want a DPS for that element...but other than that I have a c6 Anton, Rina and I probably will be going for Qingyi to complete my Electro team....!!!

I have the luxury of having a stack account off standard banner i got grace, lycon, weeping crade (rina weapon) rina and on limited banner for S, 11 and ellan. So i already have great teams. Might pull for Qinggyi if she is good, i did like her in the story if not im 100% cool with just building my current teams.

I think that Hoyo has already made it obvious through the teasers that she's PubSec, but I like my little headcanon that because her whole deal is that she has no identity (her name being Jane Doe being the biggest giveaway), now that they're teasit her with her name they're actually starting to lean into her story elements while the prior teasers were for hype

With anomaly you don't necessarily need the safe/traditional lineup that an attacker needs (stun, support, and attacker). Since disorder exists (two elements on the enemy at the same time) and anomaly character's proc their elements more efficiently than all other characters it is better to have two anomaly (different elements) and a support.

Playing this casually, so I'm not sweating the meta. Skipped shork because I'm interested in the pistol cop lady but neither of these NEPS visual designs are my taste. If they have fun gameplay or characterization I'll build the NEPS squad, otherwise I'm waiting for Section 6 units. I'm not going to be in "serious team required" content for a while anyway, might as well let the meta cook for a few banners until we have a clearer idea of how things go together.

it is super annoying that they don't tell us element/class straight up so we can start pre farming for them. For Zhu Yuan for example I already have everything for her as soon I get her I will put her up to speed from the get go without having to worry about wasting time farming

Seth's design is really cool in a simple way. Will definitely make a security team (I assume thats his faction). Plus I always have a weakness for a character that uses their sheathe as a shield/backup weapon.

If anyone played the soldier 11 story tape Jane doe is in it but only as a voice and she uses a sniper to provide support (cutscene) now I’m not saying she’s going to be a ranged character but I think it would be cool if she was a sniper ranged character but it’s highly unlikely

Jane looks like she’ll be good with Nekomiya. When assault is triggered the damage of nekomiyas special ex is increased by 35%, up to two stacks. With Jane being physical anomaly, that’s an interesting synergy.

Qinoyi is gonna be electrical support from my guess. She pops in to help attack in story when in chapter 2 interlude and her attacks have an electrical animation flowing from where she hits and her staff. Rest idk yet cause I haven't paid close attention but I do recall Jane and Seth popping up in a animation I'll rewatch said animation in abit.

i am one of those people who will almost always build teams based on Faction and not Element. Right now I am going with SoC so I am hoping for another character for the MC Club. Crazy Theorycraft: Jane Doe is an undercover agent with identities in multiple factions and therefore might have some kind of Faction Matching Wildcard ability so they can match with other Factions not on Element. Maybe something like if you have 2 characters of a specific faction, Jane Doe also counts as that faction?

Prioritizing Zhu Yuan for sure. I can scrape by with 4 star alternatives for Jane and Qinqyi (Piper, Anby), but Ether dps is a must for me. Also Nicole synergy is going to be broken. Perfect opportunity to save pulls imo, until 5 star ether/electric dps are released.

I'll probably go for Zhu Yuan for the diversity on the roster (and she looks great with Anby + Nicole, with Qingyi being a possible upgrade). Personally, though, I'm not hype for any of these. I want the idols they teased. And this first banner already taking so long to end, it's different from Genshin where I can take things slowly. ZZZ seems I run out of things to do fast, and the only thing remaining to do is wait.
