Today we take a look at all the data mined character names in Dreamlight Valley. Ofc, nothing is official until we hear it from the devs first so take this with a grain of salt.

They are still missing a huge part of Disney. Disney cartoon like Kim possible, Phineas and ferb, penn zero part time hero and more. There’s also Disney jr with Sofia the first, Elena of avalor, and many more. And live action like descendants

I like the idea of companion pets being expanded for smaller characters from Pascal, Chip, Cogsworth, Lumiere, Mrs Potts, Lucky the Dalmatian, Marie the cat, Floubder, and Sebastian etc it would be so much fun to expand characters in that way and then they could make customized pet houses to go with them as items even premium or Star path, like imagine getting a a pond you can place and then add Flounder to or the tea cart and you can add Mrs Potts and Chip to. So much fun

The second half of your idea sounds cute but I don't like smaller characters being reduced to companions. Our animals already are like zombies and we can only pet them. I think if a Disney character can speak, it shouldn't be a companion.

@@pa5666 I think it would make it more likely to get more characters. I can’t imagine them creating quests and houses for Flounder for example, unless they make an underwater biome we can swim in you never know. I’d rather get more characters however we can and they could always enhance companions to talk to us and be able to interact.

@@pa5666 I could imagine Piglet because he is Pooh's best friend. But the same applies to Christopher Robin. Those who could also come are Tigger and Eeyore, as both are very popular. I can hardly imagine the rest unless they make a whole DLC around Winnie the Pooh wich isn‘t impossible.

They added in fairy wings in the item shop not long ago and there are lots of noticed hints to get Pan and or Hook. Up to this point I see Pan being a major act 2 character in my opinion. They should add them in

Missing Pluto in the game with Mickey and friends. Also wishing Pooh bear and friends. Most of the characters, other than Alice and original Disney I would keep in their houses.

I'm still dying to know if Oswald is the "very lucky villager" coming to Eternity Isle. A lot more people will be familiar with him now that Epic Mickey is being remade.

I didn’t even know who Oswald was until I looked it up. It wasn’t something kids today would know who that is for them to bring in a character from 1927 isn’t something I would see coming. It doesn’t even go with the way Dreamlight valley is. And it wasn’t a movie character either

@@MatildaisAwesome5674 Figment isn't from a movie, either, but he's heavily implied to be coming to DDLV. Also, GL added Oswald to Disney Speedstorm. He's clearly on their radar. He's also Mickey's big brother, so there's plenty of potential for it to work with the Valley.

Rapunzel talks about Flynn quite a bit in the game, so I think that he will absolutely show up, probably in Rift's next update. I would say that Hercules might even get its own Expansion. Disney always has Pete Woods on side, so he's practically a 10, and he's one of the major-league villains. But if you want a guy for your target audience, Hercules is BUILT, and Megara is incredibly popular. Phil? Not so sure. Disney is regularly putting in Pixar content, so The Incredibles has a great chance. It's got a superhero theme; which is great for a Star Path. Boo, I wanna see. But I don't know how they'd pull it off, she's just a baby. Sometimes Sulley talks about her. Would they be able to do it without kidnapping? When it comes to weirdly sized characters, I'm always hesitant. I see Jessie as a likelihood, but I don't see Forky or Bo for a while. Vanelloppe is always talking about her buddy Shank, so I don't see it as impossible. Ralph, 100%, he's in the trailer.

I agree. Prince Charming plays more of a role in the sequels. Also I can picture Cinderella and Prince Charming outfits and dresses as rewards in friendship quests.

KH would most likely not be in DDLV. I'll put it at a 1. Reason is because of Square Enix. Even though Disney has the final word, Square Enix gets a say in the collaboration process.

I think they would do the wonderland and Hercules in a dlc and use the port in the castle to get to it. I hope so and i wish we would get Winnie the Pooh 😊

I actually can see Prince Charming being in the valley if they pull from the 3rd Cinderella movie where he is given a fair bit more character development. My speculation is that the glitched out Realm Door in the top center will be Cinderella's Realm. In my mind, it makes sense as Disney's whole iconography is based heavily around Cinderella, especially with her castle. I believe Timon and Pumbaa will still be in the game as some of Simba's daily discussions have the tone set as though Timon is already there and having distrustful interactions with Nala. Same for Aladdin and Genie as Jafar has some lines near the ending of his quests (so far) that mention them driving him out of the Valley and onto Eternity Isle. Also! We know that a realm for Mulan will be the next one to open up, and Mulan wasn't on this list. Can't see a Mulan Realm happening without her.

@@DoctorSquirtle I think that if we get him, Mushu is more likely to be a character with quests rather than a companion. The distinction being that he can talk in his film. We already have Remy in the game who would be smaller than Mushu and isn't a companion. Pascal, for example, I can see more as a Companion like Pua.

@@saltycat662 Yeah, but Cinderella 3 is consider one of the better ones actually. It's basecly a live fanfiction: Lady Tremaine gets in possession of the fairy god mother wand and use it to go back in time and make Anastasia the one who the shoe fits. Anastasia has a good character devellopement, Cinderella becomes pretty active and like I said, the prince shows more personality (He is a lot more present too) (It also completly ignores Cinderella 2 btw wich was a bunch of shorts wich were episodes of a cancelled serie).

i'd think the smaller, lesser, sidekick characters; timon, pumbaa, flounder and all the others would likely come as pets and not full villagers with friend quests. i still very much want BOO to be a villager, disappointed she wasn't in some way in the MI update. lilo should also come at some point to be with stich. other characters from the lilo and stitch movies and series probably not going to come. and Ai from the Stitch and Ai series will also probably never come

Still no sign of Big hero 6 characters being added to the game. For me, there's 100% chance that Baymax will join the game (Really want him to interact with EVE and Wall e) but I hope Hiro will join it too.

my headcanons for the game so far: -characters mentioned by villagers via dialogue will get added in some way or form (so Lefou, Eric’s dog Max, Flynn Rider, and Slink off the top of my head) -we’ll get more characters from movies already in the game, but not via their realm if there’s one for the movie. Instead they’ll be in DLC and the story will be that in the beginning of the Forgetting, they fled to these different lands instead of their realms (I think this is how we’ll get more Toy Story characters, Timon&Pumbaa, and Rafiki for example. I think the canon expiation for what happened to Lefou will be along these lines as well) -as for new lands, I think a more farming-centric land based on the plains in the US would be fun. Would be a good way to introduce the farm animals a lot of us have been requesting (I personally want a chicken similar to the squirrel companion we get from Olaf but with glowing red eyes) -another new land could be more modernized/technological? I think this would be a fun way to bring in The Incredibles, Big Hero 6, Cars if they have any interest, I personally don’t but 🤷‍♀️ (although ideally The Incredibles and Big Hero 6 would get realms) -Oswald is absolutely the “lucky” character coming -some of the characters being added will definitely be from under-represented movies, mostly from the 90s-early 00s. Think Emperors New Groove, Atlantis, perhaps Treasure Planet (for some reason there’s a little voice in my head suggesting Home On The Range and Meet The Robinsons but I DO NOT expect them to be added) -specific locations from the movie worlds will be realms. So a Wonderland realm, a Hundred Acre Woods realm, Mt Olympus realm, etc

I would absolutely LOVE for Flynn & Pascal to come to the game. It would make my DREAMLIGHT Valley list of the ones I REALLY want complete! Eve & Rapunzel were the only other ones I REALLY wanted, but Boo from Monsters Inc would be cute.

I know so people think smaller characters could be companions but I don’t like the idea of an actual character relegated to just a pet. I can understand animals like Pascal and Pua (personally I’m hoping for Prince Eric’s dog Max) cuz while they had some characterization, they weren’t fully developed speaking characters. I would hate to have a character like Flounder, Sebastian, Marie or even any of the Dalmatians placed as just a pet. Yes, they are animals but unlike Pua and Pascal, those characters are much more anthropomorphic and are much more humanlike in their interactions than they are pet like.

I agree. I wouldn't mind the pet characters like Pascal, Hei-Hei, and Abu, to be pets. It would do a disservice to the speaking characters if they were just relegated to pets, like Chip, Sebastian, and Timon. Those characters were more sentient so to be a mindless pet following you around just seems wrong.

Raya and the last dragon was amazing and my littles most favorite. We have all the toys, I think it didn't get the hype during covid and was just released on video and if anyone hasn't seen they need to. So good and would be perfect with Rift of time expansion.

Flounder definitely has to be a villager cause he can talk! I wish Pua and Abu could be villagers too. Maybe Abu can since he can gesture and stuff. I think Pua didn't do much in the movie which makes sense why it could be classified as a companion

For the spring update, I’d see Oswald or figment coming, or at least at some point, because for the spring update lucky was used to describe the update, and spark of imagination was mentioned, that would be either Oswald or figment so he probably will come in either the spring or summer updates, I don’t recall too many Disney characters that’s mentioned as being lucky or anything

I’m hoping there will be an underwater realm/biome to come to the game someday, that way it would make sense for King Triton, Flounder and Sebastian to be featured as companions. I can picture our avatars becoming merpeople in that realm kinda like how we recently got monster themed cosmetics. I’d love to make my own undersea kingdom in DDLV someday. Also, I’d love for Luca and Alberto to come to the game someday too.

My biggest disappointment of characters not in the list: 1. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs - my number one want for the game 2. Sword in the Stone - no mention of "Wart/Arthur", Archimedes, or Madam Mim. Merlin needs some company. 3. Geppetto from Pinocchio - if you add Pinocchio, definitely needs his creator. The Blue Fairy and Jiminy Cricket would also be nice additions. 4. Lilo and her sister, to go with Stitch. 5. Fix it Felix Of those in the list, my biggest wants: 1. Ralph 2. All the Aladdin characters 3. All the Incredibles characters 4. Bo Peep and Jessie Characters I do not want under any circumstance: Forkey (weakest character in the entire franchise). Might be ok as a critter companion, doubt I'd ever use him outside of a dreamsnap. Jack Sparrow and crew (they don't fit the vibe). Anything from Raya and the last Dragon - watched about 30 minutes of the movie, and lost interest.

They could totally do a forest/wood dlc biome. They could do Sherwood Forest (Robin Hood) hundred acre woods (Winnie the Pooh). Since we have all those areas left to be unlocked

I recomend you to watch cinderella 3 a twist in time charming got a lot more screentime and a voice. Love him in cinderella 3. I can also see them ad jack and gus We dont have sven from frozen.

The characters from the expansion that no one seems to have on a list is Princess Kida and Milo from Atlantis. There are so many Atlantis references in the expansion. The robots with their arms out on the islands ringing the docks. The robot pet. The fish glider. The "ancient technology" and the statues we use to open parts of the island. Its all from Atlantis. I would be very surprised if we didn't get Princess Kida at some point.

My "boyfriend" Jack Sparrow is seen sitting on a bench in game on one of the leaked photos that came out last year. :) He can't get here soon enough! Also, my toon was running around a corner of the road got jump scared by Sully the other day! I had no idea he did that!!

All of those listed characters and more are already in Gameloft's mobile game "Disney Magic Kingdoms" (which I also play) along with a ton of Star Wars, Muppets, Ice Age and Indiana Jones. This list doesn't show Oswald or Mulan which is odd. DMK has lots of side characters from Pirates, Toy Story and Star Wars even has Stormtroopers. Gameloft has gone over the top in that game for some franchise characters. Totally possible they'll do that in DDV.

I think that in the way that Aladdin universe is this DLC, I think another DLC with a Wonderland theme would be an amazing way to bring Alice and those characters into the game.

I'd rather see more of the pre-1990s characters come to the game like Alice In Wonderland and Aurora, my top favorite Disney princess. I was hoping that Jack Sparrow would be in Skull Rock but with no new story quests related to that location, I guess we'll never know 🤷

This is simple, look at kingdom hearts Disney roster, add that to this, kh did it right and I find those essential Alice in Wonderland, Hercules, Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Milan etc. Then add something modern here and there.
