This problem is directly related to battery. I'm a mechanical engineer and currently owning Tata tigor ev. I work with Ola electric on their BMS. Now problem is that there should a wrong calibration done on your battery pack. When you've gone to the service center they may have wrongly calibrated your battery which is causing issue after 95% of drain. Secondly there can be dead cell in your battery system because of that bms is wrongly callbrated.

I recently was forced to drive the car (Nexon EV 3 - Empowered LR+) till 4% battery (Travelled a total of 324KM). Except warnings, there is no issue in driving.

I have experienced the same problem in my tigor ev @12 percent and got stuck. First it happened at 15 percent but that time after a few minutes got it resolved.but @12 percent it was not resolved.Now the vehicle is shifted to service centre in towing truck

Same happened with me self inspected for more than 2 months , as an electrical engineer I accepted the fault and living with it ‘ good thing it can be towed without hassle in neutral and also it can put accelerate while towing as the tow car was a hatch. Tata is being too safe in my opinion , and yes Bms and SOF battery and auxiliaries should be made available to customers as well on a connect.

Aur 3 saal ke baad dekho..sab nexon walo ka battery replace hoga.. company ne already extra Paisa leke rakha hai

If service center misinform or miguides the owner then Tata has to take it up with the concerned SC and not with the owner. Owner has to get the issue resolved by Tata [full stop]

@@NoiseFaktoryhi , i have max , recently the charging pin over heating issue was seen un mutlipte times for my charger ( red and greeen ladt two rows blnkimg, so is it advisable to change the charger or just use It the orginal charger than get a old refurbished unit of we opt for replacement . I now days jist charge in intervals to reduce the problem of over heating by unplugging charger our of tata ev wall mount .and give a gap of 10 min to cool down the plug and then recharge again .

Same issue for me I faced in tigoe ev but in summers due to high ambient temperatures also check your house load make sure your electric load sustains your ev charging along with your home appliances

Hi Did you get your tata nexon ev back? I did also face battery drop issues from 30% SOC. Many cars are facing battery issues and getting the same replaced

What's annoying is that only TML has too many dos and don'ts for vehicle usage and charging. One slow charging session up to 100% for every 4 fast charging sessions? First one all Tata's EVs don't go above 300-350 km in one charge, and imagine taking a trip above 1k km with only fast charging options, as the car won't charge overnight with the portable charger to continue the journey the next day. Even my MG ZS doesn't have so many don'ts.

That’s recommendation not a rule, few of guys did 4-6 fc without any issue

@@shrey220 yes for the optimum performance of high voltage battery pack. But it is not saying that it will stop charging fast or slow after 4 fc

@@GreenDriveIndia yes, it obviously won't stop charging beyond that. My point being, I recently took a 2k km trip in my MG ZS and used fast chargers continuously 10 times. This would be the case with the Nexon EV as well. But going by the rule book just won't do for such trips. How can the company suggest such an absurd point and highlight it as a must?

You are hearing more negative stories from Tata ev since they are sold more in numbers compared to others. Once other companies start selling lot if evs, you will find similar complaints with other brands too

I really like ur videos however u need to explain people, the bigger the battery pack the better the range, I cannot expect 40Kw deliver the same range as 60kw byd atto3 or 73 kw usable. Byd e6 their performance can't be matched by Nexon lipolymer batteries. Lipolymer batteries are the cheapest that Tata uses. I like their product the battery cells why r they so slow in charging as compared to BYD cells SIMPLE BECAUSE THEY USE 2ND CLASS CELLS WHEN COMPARED WITH QUALITY OF BYD. REALITY NOT PRAISING THE MANUFACTURER. THINK ABOUT IT SIR, EVEN THE 25 OT 40KW CHARGING IS NOT CONSTANT IT DROPS AS U CAN SEE IN THE CHARGING GRAPHS AND SPEEDS
