Thank you for producing this content. I've been looking into purchasing one of the Veto tech series bags and you've helped me come to a decision. I am currently working as residential HVAC technician doing diagnostics and maintenance. The two meter pockets on the side look perfect for holding my electrical meter and dual port manometer. This bag reminds me of the smaller service vehicle transits. Small, but with a ton of space. This is perfect because a lot of attic access points where I work are small, so backpacks or totes aren't the most easy to carry through. Thanks again for your video. Liked and subscribed.

I just got my XXL bag last week and did a load out on it and still have space for my tools. Thanks for the review didn’t think I would need the bag and was about to go with the Xl but due to this video went for more space which is needed.🤙🏽

Great tools bags and review. I’m a junior HVAC tech and just got the TP XL and love it, however I see myself getting the XXL within the next 6 months or so. The TP XL fits most of what I need but have it fully loaded out and a bit cramped which I don’t like as much. I’ll probably use the TP XL strictly for quick service calls and keep it under 20lbs. Once I’m working independently I’ll probably put everything in the XXL.

I just bought the tp-xl about a week ago. Had this vid been up before I purchased I would have gone with the xxl. I was worried about it being too big. It’s definitely not. Great vid and great comparison. 👍

Is the tpxxl less prone to tipping over than the tpxl? I really like my tpxl, but the ease with which it tips over us a constant source of annoyance.

Does it seem that the base is more stable? My tp-xl constantly tips over on a solid surface. It looks the base on this one is wider. Trying to decide between this or just going to a mic bag for the stability

During your daily use, do you zip each side of the lid or do you just close with velcro only? I worry about the tools falling out if both sides of the flap are not zipped shut?

I almost never zip the sides. If you put loose tools in front of everything it might be an issue but with them all in pockets I’ve had none fall out

Been looking for a new bag. I have the Veto MC. You convinced me to go with this TPXXL. Just worry about how Heavy its going to be to carry. I tend to load down bags to the max..

It can definitely be overloaded, takes a lot of will power not to 😅 Having another place on the truck or a second bag that maybe you have that’s just too big to carry into jobs to offload anything you don’t need as much is a really good idea. Keeps you from carrying as much in it as you otherwise might

I’m still using Joist. I actually finally gave up and installed the PayPal connection to it now as well. Learning a new program is just too annoying

I am wondered which of these I want? I like the smaller TP-XL, but I love the two-meter bags of the TP-XXL. Veto told me the TP-XXL should be available again in August.

The XL is a lot nicer to carry but the XXL has so many extra pockets that I really had to just move over. Thankfully there’s a shoulder strap!

Still waiting for mine , hopefully some time this month ! Still working out of a Tech Pack ( getting more disorganized by the minute ) , BTW , a Bro to Bro Tip : get the Veto Zipper Lube ! A true investment saver ( zippers being the one big reservation I have about Veto bags ) . BTW , an idiot question / PSA , do you wear work pants of the European style ( sane pocket designs , and built in Kneepad pockets , plus good/ great build quality ) . They look Dorky , but your Knee’s are pretty vital to your earning potential ! Shirt wise , I wear 5 11 Ripstop Tacticool shirts , comfortable , great pockets ! Great build quality !

I wear Blaklader X1600 in the winter and the other lighter weight version that has the same pocket layout just without the pull out bags in summer. I have probably 8 pairs I rotate through. That’s all I wear for work anymore

@@MillisConstruction Good call , I went with that Style in the early nineties , Skillets , Snickers , Blakladder , and others ! The only way to fly . Helly Hensen is also very good , ditto their rain and winter gear !

Absolutely! I’m currently using it every day and I usually do that for a bit before doing a Loadout video so it’s accurate about what I’m really using in it. It should be sometime in July 😁

I’m in a quandary , ATM , I’m running a Techpack ( soon to be somewhat superseded by a TP XXL . Now the Question , ATM I’m carrying an Installation Drill / Driveer in the TechPack , question should I continue with the Installation Drill/drive , or do like you and go with the M12 Surge ? I can then banish the installation Drill/ Driver to the Packout ?

Do you use an impact/impact style bits more or less than drilling types with that bag? That may be the answer.

@@MillisConstruction Depends on the day . I usually carry 2” impact bits , and a few bits from about 7/64 “ - 3/8” plus several impact extensions ( 3 ish” , 6”, and 12” ) . All my multibit 1/4” hex multibit drivers are loaded up with impact rated bits , so swapping ammo is a non issue .

@@MillisConstruction The installation drill driver is a lot of stuffs , needed , but not every day . The impact will get used every day ( non complicated drilling / driving is more common ) As my old Microbiology Prof once said , “ Common Organisms are the Commonest !)

We all keep our tape in the plastic containers it comes in. I’ve never really understood the tape chains. Maybe I just don’t use electrical tape enough

I’m really considering the XL Wheeler that’s coming out this month. I was debating the backpack/wheeler that is out now but I think the XL may do what I want it to do better honestly and maybe eliminate a couple bags off my truck to consolidate better. I wouldn’t even consider that for weight reasons without the wheels though 😅

One thing you might consider adding to the bag , a Milwaukee Top Up inverter / power supply . Been using mine a lot , we’ve been having a lot of thunder storms , I don’t want a damaged IPad or I phone !

I usually charge mine from the power bank i keep in the bag. I think I have a 20k mah version with usb C outputs. Along with using the wireless MagSafe Anker charger as well. They work great!

@@MillisConstruction the advantage of the Milwaukee is that it can give you 110 in a pinch ( not pure sine ) , with a 9 or 12 AH , it runs for quite a while !

That’s right! I did see that plug in. That is super handy. Unfortunately I don’t have anything M18 though and I don’t think they make it in M12? Dewalt is way behind on one that small unfortunately. I do use their power station a lot though for jobsite power.

Everyone seems to want an XXL over the XL but I got the XXL and now im looking to get into the XL since I travel for work and am beholden to size and weight restrictions. I wouldnt mind the XD but the price being the same as the XXL despite the lack of meter pockets bothers me.

I think I talked about it a little the last couple videos. I got a hotel contract where I’m there a certain number of hours every week now doing all the things the maintenance guy can’t handle. Lot of elevator riding in those days!

It’s absolutely enjoyable with air conditioning! I work from 10 am - 3 pm there usually do it knocks out the hottest part of the days. Not every day but probably 2-3 days per week.
