says its a torsion axle but is clearly a leaf spring suspension not torsion. 4:48 to 4:51

George is a great guy ! Know him from his Ranger days. I was able to physically see the 190 at my dealer in Morris finally and I was impressed and I run the all time best multi species boat ever built the Ranger 620 !!

What is the trailed height of this boat? I have a lower garage 80" and this might just squeeze under?

i hate that every boat under 22 ft has foam as the coast guard mandates it. doesn't matter what foam is used they all end up absorbing water. even in 5 to 10 years old. love this boat. and the 190 but hate that its spray foamed, and would be really hard to remove the floor the remove waterlogged foam which will happen. foam will even absorb moisture from the air. That transducer wire exiting the hull below the waterline. hope that grommet doesn't leak. also the boat straps you say they added the brackets for better placement. should be also offset back an inch or two, as the strap is touching the boat and will wear the paint while trailering with the wind and vibrations.

Will not absorb water if closed cell and the foam is good when put in.

I've seen and repaired boats that are as new as 4 years old with with waterlogged foam. yes its closed cell but they all absorb water. you can delay it some by keeping it dry or better quality foam or keeping it in areas where it doesnt get as wet. but it will still get heavier. and very hard to dry out once wet. @@shyman9023

This is a Beautiful Boat ! If I could get it with a Suzuki 140hp motor I would buy it !

Why would want to put a 140 on it if it only rated for a 115? I would think a 115 would do great.

@@shyman9023 They sell one a model that is rated for 150hp and I like the Suzuki 140hp because it has same weight as 115hp engines which is 100lbs lighter than 150hp engines.

@@sha6mm As long as it holds up should be a benefit. My buddy that sells outboards says they are good. I bought a Tuhatsu 115 off him and he told me they are pretty much bullet proof for holding up.

Isn’t the 140 Suzuki only rated 125 hp at the prop, where a Suzuki 150 hp is like 155 at the prop. So you’re really not getting all that you think you are with 140 horse label on it. I have read that Outboard motors can be rated whatever they want as long as they’re within 10% of whatever is at the prop for horsepower. Anyway, I like Suzuki’s too and I just put a 250 hp Suzuki on my boat. I’m also not saying that I know this to be a fact, because I did get it off the Internet, but there has to be a reason they have a 140 and the 150.

Why don’t they weld aluminum step back piece on the bottom of the transom so that you can put your plastic board on there for mounting transducers so you’re not drilling into the flipping hull.

Cubby hole @ the bow should be starboard side so that a graph(s) can be mounted more portside. That way you can more easily utilize the bow step pad to exit and enter the boat at the bow. Also, what is the exact length of the portside rod locker? Will a 9-foot rod fit in there? Also, did I hear correctly, 115 max outboard rating? If so, epic fail for an 18-foot class boat!

I’m with you. 115hp rating is a sin. Why would you buy a 18’ boat with a 115? It will be a dog for sure

I guess if you have to go over 40 mph, but I run a 115 on an Excel 203 Bay Pro and for me it is fast enough, plus I saved $3,000 over the 150.

A 18’ boat with a 115 rating is terrible. No reason for it not to be a 150. It will be a turtle on the water. I’m out. The king fisher is a 150. Many of the lunds and crestliners will take a 150.
