these are kinda bad. most of this can be earned in game and the quality of life stuff is like barely there. almost seems like they dont have a great grasp on whats valuable in game. omnispell dust? 300 sentience xp? 5 storage slots??? like???? do they even play this game?

*Insert the "is this an out of season April fools joke?" clip* Seriously though these rewards are almost comically bad, we went from an F grade plan to a D- grade. Out of the 12 rewards I'm excited for like, the greater bag and maybe the cloud mount depending on how it looks in game? Everything else feels like either just throwaway chaff or like the absolute bare minimum they could have given, I mean 1% increased drop rate and 10% durability feels like they're actually just telling us to F-off.

I moved abroad and there's too much lag now. I miss DDO!

So roughly $60 for 10% item durability. $180 for one mount. I love DDO but…hmm. 😅

Appreciate you taking the time to make a video about this program that was just launched. Really haven’t followed it and I’d really don’t know how much effort was put into it. And you’re right it just resembles the spreadsheet for the Dragon Lord year the dragon. So they already had a template laid out. I don’t wanna say it copy and paste but pretty much my opinion. It’s a company values. The subscription to be $99 a year. That’s their choice. If they want to offer loyalty rewards that they feel value close to the same amount of a customer being loyal, I’m OK with that also. I think all of us are aware that not everybody in life is going to be happy with what’s been offered to them. It’s either handed to you or you’ve earned it. It’s one of the other. I’m not gonna say I don’t want anything For being loyal. But there’s a lot of fluff and I can see it just like a lot of other people through their comments from your evaluation and other top game streamers that support the game that they dedicated to putting time into. Regardless of all the other issues this game has had through the years. I still play guilty as charged. But I don’t play any other MMO’s.. I do think that everyone has a different Financial level and that’s demonstrated on how they subscribe. And sometimes people have life-changing situations usually they’re at no fault of their own. It just happens. You would hope that you’d be in a society that has your back but in reality they don’t so for most of the people that don’t keep up, their VIP status they just got to be aware use or lose is the bottom line nowadays. I don’t think it really matters that I personally been playing the game since 2006. I don’t even know if that constitutes being loyal. But that’s how long I’ve been subscribed, and I don’t expect anybody to pat me on the back. Don’t insult me you get one shot. And so I’ll be logging on again today to play the game that I enjoy playing regardless if I’m getting a worthy loyalty program. My life will go on.

How this SHOULD have been: Each consecutive continuous month of VIP subscription status results in a cumulative award. 1st month and each month thereafter: 125 extra DDO points (for a total of 625 each month--a $10 value). 2nd month and each month thereafter: 5% bonus REAPER exp (each additional month adds 2% exp). 3rd month: ONE TIME Raiders Reward Box (earned only once: 125 Threads of Fate or one item from any non-expansion raid). 4th Month earned every month thereafter: 25 Astral shards 5th month: and each month thereafter: Sovereign I potion x5 6th month: ONE TIME Raiders reward box (125 Threads AND one item from any non-expansion raid). 7th month and each month thereafter: 225 Additional DDO points (for a total of 900 per month) 8th Month and each month thereafter: 5% bonus REAPER exp (each additional month adds 2% exp). 9th month: ONE TIME Raiders reward box (250 Threads of Fate or one item from any expansion raid). 10th month: ONE TIME Soveriegn III Elixir x25 11th month: ONE TIME choice of a 10 additional shared bank slots, +20 Heart of Wood, Sentient Spark (choice), or 1500 DDO points. 12th Month: ONE TIME Ultimate Raiders Reward box (250 Threads of Fate and any raid item from any raid); Exclusive Permanent Mount or Cosmetic. Each additional month repeats these rewards but with an extra 250 DDO points each month, that increases by 250 each year.

Yikes =( I had high hopes that they would improve the quality of life on the VIP perks, but alas, it seems disappointing.

I would like to see something like discounted character transfers or may be a once a year free character transfer

These are pretty garbage. Nothing new here. Plus why do they keep giving us huge potions? I want 12, 1 hour poitions. Who grinds out items for 12 hours at a time?

I had very low expectations, some of this is good, not great, but good. Other I could do with out. The paltry storage space could be improved. And not just for VIP's but everyone. At the same time Giving us a leg up on some things are nice. But I wish it were more than 1% and the sentence xp was more than 300. 300 xp will barely make a dent on my weapon. It is what it is.

Something glitched with my VIP sub, and I have had permanent VIP without needing to pay for like 6 months. I keep expecting the shoe to drop at some point but it just keeps trucking along. I haven't played much to take advantage of it, though. Feelin kinda bad.

You think 300 sentient XP is bad. I rolled 100 on daily rolls and received a 50 sentient XP pot! To add insult to injury, I also rolled 100 yesterday and got the same 50 sentient XP! amazing

Honestly the only good thing I see is the regular added perk of spell swap. The loyalty rewards are not really too interesting to maintain me from unsubbing for 12 months, but I guess since the 12 months don't have to be consecutive is not that bad, it could be worse. Still not a fan of stuff only available during vip status and losing it after expires, but I guess most stuff works that way to make it more desirable. Still not convinced, most stuff is pretty meaningless except maybe the 1% chance of loot and the craft xp ok whatever.

1% increase chance of named loot dropping is pointless. 3-5% would be much better option and players would possibly see better results. 1% is nothing. Only good month is month 8 with the hearts of wood. This seems like a rushed program just to show they did somehting. Obviously you won't be handing out Hearts of wood monthly however they could have done better.

What happens after the 12th month?

Overall the rewards are awful. It has been established the "rewards" for VIP currently are lackluster. What they have proposed is basically adding "salt" to an open wound. Bonus: Meh, free is free; 5/10 1st Month: Slap in the face. Honestly needs to be raised to 750 or 1k; 3/10 2nd Month: A single(?) Bypass timer is the best options (IMO) and after the first month reward... Yeah, but nope...; 1/10 3rd Month: Character Slot? Are they tone deaf? We want more shared storage, inventory, and bank space. Not another character whose only purpose is being a mule; 1/10 4th Month: Just 💩💩💩; -10/10, this is pure "Salt." 5th Month: Repeating the 2nd Month; 0/10 6th Month: Meh; 5/10 7th Month: Depending on how this works 7/10 or 1/10. Time will tell (And that is also with the caveat that they make crafting useful again) 8th Month: 8/10, a few solid options. 9th Month: 9/10. A tad low on the % but with the amount of people who now run r10 regularly they probably can't actually boost this for the "casual/average" gamer. 10th Month: Why are they are insulting us this late in the game? Not that they didn't insult us during the 4th and 5th Month and, too. -15/10 11th Month: This should have been provided way way earlier. 1/10 12th Month: Meh, 5/10 In my view the rewards peak during the 9th month and with the cheapest subscription plan of $99 there is very little value in this loyalty plan. Dang, the more I look at this the more upsetting it really is.

I agree some the items are poor but some are ok, i really wish they would sort out why my toon can't use pots of discovery etc as i have hundreds of them and they are completely useless to me, so giving me another one is a bit like a slap in the face and f you type thing.

These make SSG look so cheap. The second item durability was mentioned here someone should have known to turn the dial to 100 percent. 5 storage spaces, going up to 10 at the 11th month? ROFL. The fact that the official forums, which are swarming with sycophants, has a mixed reception to this should tell you all you need to know.

I would come back for a classic server. I'm just not a fan of epic stuff. Id give them so much money if they ever did this. Make raid loot the best loot in game, dump crafting

These are insulting to loyal subscribers. There is nothing worthwhile here to warrant the subscription when they keep giving away all the quests VIPs get for free every year. Straight dogshit, without question.

I don't know anyone who thinks this is any good. In fact, most people find it an insult! LOTRO...which is run by the SAME company actually has a decently good system... so why insult DDO players with this crap?
