You need to conserve ammo. You shoot like 12 times with a 30 round mag, then reload. Tip: Do the countdown method (its what i call it): Test how long it takes to empty a mag. A gun firing at a normal 600- 950 R/Pm with a magazine with 30 bullets will be empty in about 1-3 seconds (2-3 for 600 - 700 r/pm and 2 or less for 700+ R/Pm. For more details, click "Read More" R/Pm = Rounds Per Minute 600 R/Pm (Uzi, AK-47) 3 seconds 650 R/pm (UMP 45 *25 Round Magazine* ) 2 seconds (+0.5 seconds for 5 missing rounds) 750 R/Pm (AK variants excluding the AK47 And AKS-74U) 2.5 seconds 800 R/Pm (MP5) 2 seconds 900 R/pm (P90, AKS-74U) 2 seconds Statistics (R/Pm and names) From World Of Guns: Gun Disassembly *TIMING DONE IN MY HEAD. NOT 100% ACCURATE* This took me 10 minutes to do

In a more mil-sim oriented game that would make sense, but you die so often in this game that it rarely makes sense to count your ammo. You spawn with enough mags to last for a long while :P
