I've had the same problem with my number plate. I have a roller fairlead and bought a fold up bracket that bolts to the top of the roller bolts.

That plate the spot lights are on looks wide enough to bolt a hinge to and just make the plate fold up

The kind of off routing I do if I’m gonna get a tire off the ground during wheel spin I try to stay away from it already grenaded 1 aluminum front differential housing lol even have a back up one waiting for the next time I do it
