Great Question :)... electronic shutters do not have the same wear and tear mechanism. Since there are no physical parts that wear out with use.But lifespan can be affected due to heat generation and sensor wear.

एक अपवाद है। अगर आप बर्ड या वाइल्ड लाइफ या स्पोर्ट फोटोग्राफर है और कैमरा १२ या उससे ज़्यादा इमेज़ हर सेकंड में खिच सकता है। उस वक्त बच्चे हुए शटर काउंट काफ़ी महत्वपूर्ण होते है। एक दो घंटे के बर्ड फोटोग्राफी सेशन में बड़ी आसानीसे दो हज़ार या उससे भी ज़्यादा फोटो आप खिचते है। एक लाख शटर काउंट एक बर्ड या वाइल्ड लाइफ या स्पोर्ट फोटोग्राफर सीरफ़ कई महीनोमे यूज़ कर सकता है।

You can use electronic shutter if you have mirrorless camera but it has their own advantages and disadvantages

@@ManeeshSaxena electronic shutter is counter productive...you need more frames to capture fast movement...but electronic shutter fails to capture movement (jelo effect) except very high end FF camera's...no one need 30FPS to capture porched bird..but they do need high FPS for bird in action where electronic shutter miserably fails. bottom line is that you are buying old camera from bird or wildlife or sport photographer or you himself is bird or wildlife or sport photographer then shutter counts matters.
