If you want to mention mil-sim then maybe it shouldn't respawn in the same spot everytime. That was one guy. This game screams vehicles to me. At least a jeep and the ability to manually be dropped off. But what you said rings true, I watch those airsoft gun channels and it amazes me how many people act and move just like NPC's would haha. Just standing around oblivious.

@@ItIsYouAreNotYour Most people underestimate the amount of physical conditioning you need to actually move like a trained soldier. That shit wipes you out. I'm not the fittest dude on earth but I can move for my size and when I ran half crouched for half an hour at paintball my legs were on fire for a week. Granted, the amount of NPCs in both games is pretty lol

One way I hope they address the rat issue is by giving players more tools; like drones for observation and some way to communicate to the faction at large. Imagine having rapid response units that could organically respond to threats, even if they're AI. For example, dudes get hit right off LZ, helicopter "sees it", puts a ping on the LZ, then players could switch LZs and recapture it. What shouldn't happen is endless nerfing or making players invulnerable for longer.

Maybe parachute down with invulnerability. That way you can spread out the LZ a bit more have not be in a group of sitting ducks when you get off the heli.

Just change the little birds to Hueys, and give the players some time to look around, then choose to open the doors if they want, maybe throw a smoke, etc. If they see bodies everywhere, or see movement, dont open the door, and ride back

They really thought a timer would stop the rats rofl imo to stop lz camping they gotta add a gunner ai on the bird that pelts players NOT insta kill them but suppressive fire(but it can kill) that way it gives up their location and lowers their health forcing them to move

Or just a smoke screen when the heli lands. I don't like the idea of an Invincible ai shooting a machine gun at me if I'm trying to extract. Or just have people parachute in with Invincibility while in the air. With just enough flight time to spread out so your not a group of sitting ducks when you get out the heli

A good idea to prevent the LZ ratting is 1. Team on the chopper is able to stop/hover anywhere along the path of travel and repel off the chopper 2. The helicopter launches smoke rounds and smokes the entire LZ as players dismount

I dont think this playstyle necessarily needs nerfing. The game is trying to be a faction milsim so of course "tactical waiting" will always be a part of it. What it needs is more options to prevent it if one chooses to use them. You could take a slower land vehicle, maybe give the heli pilot an order to circle above so you can check the area before landing (perhaps a moderately expensive drone tool or a very expensive thermal drone tool to help with that), perhaps an option to pay for an escort heli that makes you wait longer but scans for enemies in a radius around the landing zone, a paid ai escort that runs with you for a minute or two before going back to the heli and leaving again, pay the heli to deploy smokes at an approximate area before you land, a purchasable parachute that takes up the backpack slot, a rope that takes the belt slot so you can slide out midair when close enough... Hopefully something gets implemented instead of a bandaid fix like temporary invulnerability

I think when your faction has control over an area you should just be able to click anywhere that’s open enough to land in a radius from the area you control. Simple fix and adds a little realism

@@ItIsYouAreNotYour I don’t like that because it would roughly give away people’s position. You SHOULD be able to sit and camp and ambush unexpecting people if they happen to come across your spot. If you could pick from an area it would allow you to maybe come in from a different angle and ambush the person who killed you as well as just pick a spot further away and disengage from that enemy.

Parachute in with Invulnerability so you don't get shot out the sky. They don't have to give a lot of flight time or anything but just enough for you to spread out so you and your team aren't sitting duck's when you get off the heli.

I could see like a skill level for flying and driving etc. You don't need to add in tanks, but based on how empty and a waste the whole area is, being able to get around quicker might be cool.

i love how people are talking about what gray zone warfare could be while this game is nothing but bare bones. everyone will drop that game once the hype is over and it'll die off. its nothing but a "better dayz" but not even close to what ArmA 3 offers regarding mods and stuff to do. i dont get why ppl are still so dumb to jump on a hype train, especially after all that shit that happens with tons of games in EA.

Not right now and maybe never, its only alpha so too early to tell. Also not even the same genre as Tarkov it plays more like Hunt showdown, arma, dayz. Its buggy right now and alot of running with minimal pvp and probably 50 hours of content. On its current course it won't be like Tarkov where you have 3000 hours over multiple wipes

There are missions to go places and pick up quest items like tarkov. I agree though this shit looks unfinished and boring af with brain dead bullet sponge ai. Any semblance of realism is instantly crushed when you have to shoot an npc 10 times with a full power rifle cartridge to drop them.

Looks like you do not play the game. He is on a PVP server, in the pve servers you can’t kill pmcs, even of they are from other factions. You also can not loot pmc’s bodies, only your own.
