That little ratchet is awesome. I had a set at my old job. Gonna order a set for home. When you have the head in the “screw driver” orientation you can actually push the little switch that you pull to change the head orientation, and it’ll push the button to release sockets. So you don’t have to switch orientations to swap sockets

I bought a set of the Wera striker head screwdrivers a few weeks ago, but I got the ones with the 1/4 square hole in the top. Allows you to add a 1/4 rachet to assist instead of a wrench on the top of the shaft. Whenever I buy Wera kits, I immediately replace all the pozidrive stuff with square 1 and 2. Not sure if it's the Upper Midwest or all over the US, but I run into quite a bit of Robertson screws here in Minnesota.

Typically tools with lanyard holes are for tie offs. Like if you’re working on scaffolds or on a roof so you don’t drop your tools

How are you liking the NWS tools. They have this pistol grip electrian pliers I’ve been trying to get my hands on forever and can’t find. I’ve got the regular pistol grin pliers and love then. I’ve also got a pair of 45 degree needle nose, regular needles and cable cutters. Very nice products in my opinion. I still think knipex are better.

How are the Wera laser tips holding up under daily commercial usage? I have a set and love the laser tips, but kind of concerned about it wearing out quickly under moderate use. Nice tool haul... missed the NWS pliers sale, great deals.

This is true! Man oh man our local farm stores carry like 20 versions of bottles old fashioned type root beers. They’re just awesome to keep in the shop fridge 😁 Oh and KC tool actually sells an entire set of the tool branded bottle openers by the way. I haven’t bought that though lol

i hit the yellow black flat driver 3 times to tighten a lock nut and i cant use it on a flat head screw anymore cause it go all damaged. SUPER soft metal.

Oh man! They should warranty it for you I would imagine. I’ve been using the larger one hard the last few weeks as it replaced my ancient messed up “demo driver” and it’s not done that yet. Maybe they didn’t harden that one or something?

@@MillisConstruction same lol I always used to call it Nipex but I had a German coworker and he confirmed it's actually K-ni-pex. I still say Nipex because I feel silly pronouncing the K

What’s your experience buying wear tools on amazon? Did you ever get knock offs? Do they still warranty them?

I haven’t received a knock off version yet, you might just watch who the seller is though. I order most of mine from KC tool personally but I put links for both options in my descriptions as sometimes one is cheaper than the other

I think I have a set of those actually, for my impacts though I use a lot of makita gold bits. They have some specific combination reversible ones that’re just so useful.
