Hiya!
I’m Ellie and this channel follows me on my journey through life, navigating chronic illness and disability in a world that wasn’t designed for us. I Finally have my new wheelchair! Ive waited what feels like forever, but hes finally here! Leave your questions in the comments and I'll have another video coming all about him.

That looks fantastic. They've told me 8-12 weeks for my wheelchair, up in Scotland, I'm just hoping it doesn't take as long as yours. With Hollyoaks, you should have totally kept Quickie on the back. LOL. It'd have given them whole new storylines for you 😀

NIIICE!! Looks a lot like mine :) Argon 2 here as well with ellipse 3R, and Jay cushion (I have the easy visco), same back rest as well. I hope you will be as happy with yours as I am with mine. Congrats!!

Amazing!! Just gpt mine today through Northamptonshire wheelchair services.. I was fighting since December last year so not as long as yourself but went in today thinking for another measure up 🙄 and there was one of these bad boys sitting there! As soon as they said oh this got sent back last week from someone else and just by pure luck! It has your measurements so you can take this home today. Not gomna lie I was so happy & so glad to give them back thier crappy standad one but played it down 😂. Mine turned out to be pure back aswell & girl you aint vain you just know what you like and i agree, matches with every outfit! Lol.

Ahhhh so exciting!!! A tip I have is you want to take the cloth logos off your chair then you can grab a cheap seam ripper to take them off or cover them with patches :) The question I have is about the specs, like caster size, taper amount, camber, front frame angle and such. Can you tell I’m kind of a wheelchair nerd? lol

Oh gosh...i had my wheelchair evaluation in november, and they told me February. i hope its on time i only have a cheap amazon bulky wheelchair till then Im grateful prescribed me it and sent me for the evaluation because i know that can be hard to get even ...i just want to get the new chair already so i can live a bit better ...the struggle 😢

How much would the wheelchair have cost in the UK if you had bought it privately? I love it by the way. a serious case of wheelchair envy happening over here!

Basic price is £1800 - £2000. Without taper and add-ons. Double that with add-ons. BUT Free on NHS and Ellie only had to pay for add-ons.

It’s the control for my smart drive. Maybe I should do a video on it now that I’ve had it for a while
