Having a G37 before, I’m pretty sure the reason why it’s unbearably loud is cause of those unresonated test pipes. I’d recommend high flow cats or resonated test pipes next

I’d recommend a vibrant ultra quiet resonator to help quiet it down. I know a lot of people who use them on other cars and it quiets down a bunch

so the part of the exhaust rattle is because of the flex pipes in the y pipe, circuit werks have a resonated y pipe that helps with rasp and if you go with a resonated exhaust like an isr single it also helps. the key is alot of resonators or titanium.

Once the car was lowered, they do it perfectly for me. I think the tandems and new wheels are pretty equal for me.

My 350Z is a Grand Touring, and as such it comes with Rays Engineering forged wheels from the factory...and 20mm wider tires all around compared to other trim level Z's. Fronts are 18x9 with a 245/40R18, and the rears are 265/35R19 factory spec, so you can definitely run 265's in the rear (Disclaimer, my car is at factory ride height). The factory Rays are even sunk a little so you could likely go wider in the rear without issue.

Jimmy, for the exhaust on the car. There are two big things that will help quiet the exhaust. I believe it has non-resonated test pipes on, Id swap those for high flow cats (more money). If you want to spend less, get resonated test pipes. I run berk resonated test pipes and are very high quality. The single exit exhaust, I think its a Tomei? If you want to keep that Tomei, it will be loud regardless. If you want something more quiet, you will want a dual exit exhaust. The invidia gemini seems to be a solid dual, but its about 1k brand new. Hope this helps! I have a 06 g35 coupe and a 13 g37 sedan so familiar with the Vq exhaust struggles.

It's the tomei with the test pipes that's making it raspy and loud. I recommend getting a dual exit catback for a better tone and volume, like invidia N1,HKS, motordyne

I had Enkei RPF1 18x10.5 +15 with 265/35 tire up front on my 07 350z. Drifted on them for years with no rubbing.

I had 305s in the rear of my Z no problem, flush with the fender and didn’t rub. With the right offset fits no problem

Ducktail wing side skirts and a nismo style longer nose/bumper. Makes 350z’s look perfect! 👌🏻

6:04 slick looking R53 peeking out I'm converting one the same color to RHD for a buddy, just got the brake booster mounted today hah those exploding discs are why you never ever look inline with the disc (especially grinding wheels) always keep your head and body off to the side.. also idk if you can find them where you are but ABC discs seem pretty sturdy and last a good while, it's what we use at work

The ISR gt exhaust is great for making it quiet, it’s got a resonator and a muffler and it has been great for me

My buddy had a Z with longtubes and an X pipe flow master resonators and super 10s with 3 inch pipe and 5 inch tips it sounded so good!

On my old g35 I had it full straight single exhaust with a vibrant ultra quiet resonator and it sounded 👌 much better. The isr long tube headers will also get rid of the rasp and give it a deeper tone

Was running ART pipes and ARK grip exhaust on my Z and it’s pretty quiet cruising but loud when you get on it. Just swapped to high flow cats and it’s much quieter.

Also, those rims look like a great OEM style rim. I think spacers in the rear would look good and a going a little bit lower. The rims that where on it previously also look good too, but I can respect the change. Definitely make those door handles silver again. It would give it a great over all look.

I honestly really like those wheels on the Z.

im running a 275 with an 11" wheel on my Z. I rolled my fenders only and track my car (Grip driving) quite a bit and i dont get any rubbing issues. I have slight camber but very minimal with pretty good tire wear. For drift, since i know a bit of positive camber is usually favored, my set up is definitely overkill.

Best thing to quiet down any VQ engine is actually a turbo. One or sometimes 2 of them make all the difference with the exhaust volume and tone. You should probably try it out.

ISR resonated test pipes, ISR y pipe, ISR single gt exhaust on my HR back in the day way quieter than any other exhaust and still made 310whp with tune. Switched to agency power was slightly louder without the second muffler and still made the exact same 310whp on the same dyno. Tomei is just way to loud, sound good but it’s like blast pipes on a S chassis. Sound great to damn loud though.

Bro put 2 3inch hotdog resonator in the exhaust, I put 1 on my au falcon and it made it a bit quieter but gave it a deeper sounds, made it sound more like a v8 when it was a 4L intech inline 6

ISR Single GT exhaust for the Z. Best sounding exhaust and its alot quieter than the Tomei.
